I just loose all my progress in the journeys with the new version.
He tells me step by step what to start with and how to start
great app!!! i love the nsdr protocol its very relaxing and helps me get some rest without having to actually go to sleep. i wish there was more to this app like supplements or good foods to eat that i could add to my routine. i also wish there was just more protocols to listen to or tools to improve general health
Absolutely love it because it’s easy to use and is the ultimate mediation app.
your phone is awful and made you feel bad and sick? the only good thing on it can be this app! amazing, especially the meditations.
Note for Devs/content team: In the middle of the 30-minute NSDR session, there is a slight, but certainly noticeable editing error. There is a line that needs to be taken out. That line is between 20:09 and 20:22. • Rather than, ‘line of illumination’ he accidentally says, ‘line of eliminate’ • This error was noticed and corrected in the following line. — Therefore, the only change needed to be made is simply editing out the portion I have indicated. ***This is certainly a small, understandable error that anyone could make. That said, it certainly can take you out of your NSDR state. Considering this falls under a “paid” portion of the app, as well as the simplicity of the issue, I would hope this gets resolved quickly. — When see this change has occurred, I will certainly update my star review from 4 to 5 as well as replace this written review with all the the portions of this app that I deeply enjoy.
The old version was great. Good videos explaining different practices. Way more practices to follow and work into a routine. This app is a shell of the old one. I signed up for a year to get a better deal and shorty after they updated and stripped the app of all of its goodness. I regret signing up for a year because this version is a shell of the old app and this is. Or what I paid for. Extremely disappointed that I no longer get my money’s worth with this. This app is not anywhere worth what it used to be. Don’t waste your money here unless they bring the old version back
I was prompted to update to 3.0 and as I did, I lost access to the multiple nsdr recordings I used to be able to listen to in the earlier version of the app… DO NOT UPDATE
What happened to LightMeter?!! That was my biggest interest to know how much light to get in the morning. Otherwise, the App is improving with good content. Not quite there, yet. Adding some music and better organization of content is needed before people are willing to be paid members. Equivalent content is available for free elsewhere
Originally, I only used this app for the Huberman narrated NSDR sessions. His style is what I prefer: to the point, effective guidance with evidence based practices. Virtusan has paid for more than just NSDR. There used to be a suite of practices and ideas available from a number of credible sources. But since v3, the app has removed most of the unique content, and it’s mostly just meditations and body scans with a daily water tracker. The subscription ($12.50 a month) unlocks the 20 and 30 minute NSDR Scripts. The only reason I even used this app. If you want an app for NSDR and improving sleep/relaxation that isn’t a ripoff, try Som NSDR (3.99).
