Voice in a Can

Not being able to control Alexa from my (iPhone or) watch has been the vain of my existence since….forever. Discovered this app this morning, installed it in seconds (plus 5 minutes for figuring out iOS shortcuts) and BOOM! The girls now play nicely! Touch my watch and I can control the lights, the irrigation system, scenes, everything. Beautiful!

Only got this to easily drop in on devices in other rooms but it says not supported.

It is a garbage app. It works sometimes. Sometimes it doesn’t. Emailed developer and Apple and heard nothing back. As for the developer he finally reached out and made it quite known he has tens of thousands of customers. Wow!!! Good for you. But there are probably thousands that aren’t happy with this garbage in a can app.

Love being able to control my Echos with a flip of the wrist and see my shopping lists without whipping out my phone. This is my favorite kind of third-party app: one that integrates -- as much as possible -- the products of two competitors who often try to lock each other out at the expense of their respective customers. The developer of the app is also one of those who will take time to help you over any hurdles you have with using it as opposed to some who respond by saying "sorry you're having a bad experience. Have a nice day." I've got a lot of "take 'em or leave 'em" apps on my watch but this ain't one of them. I heartily recommend it.

It’s just amazing it even works with the watch without the iPhone it’s super 🤩 and for that price it’s a dealbreaker. The fact that you don’t have to say Alexa it’s great, and many adjustments and icon changes. I just hope no server working with my data in the background. And also suggest the same as other user just change the name to assistant or something like that because even having the app I have to look out again the name to write a review

I've had this app for over a year and It's a great addition to my Apple Watch 7 and it's worked flawlessly every time. In the beginning it was a little buggy, but at least for the last year it's worked every single time .

This does exactly what it says it does and nothing else. So far it has worked 100% of the time. Only reason I didn’t rate it a 5 is because there is always room to improve. Love this simple app

The app is still a little buggy for me but the developer has been incredible. He has written and is trying his best to help me get it working right. At the end of the day I can’t ask for more.

love the app. it does just what it is supposed to. not crazy about the name of the app though. lol

If you're like me, I have to write down everything or else it's gone. I use Alexa on a daily basis more for grocery lists, etc. It is much easier to say it rather than write it, in my opinion. This app makes it even easier when you don’t have your phone nearby. You are can literally talk to your watch into this app and it’s just like speaking to Alexa. What a great concept, right? I had downloaded the Apple update a couple of days ago and it didn't play nice with this app. I contacted the admin and received an answer within one day (he's halfway around the world from me). He advised me what to do and it's been working fine since. Thank you, Damien, for a perfect app. Carol
