Voice in a Can

Can’t complain. Works well. Don’t even have to say the Alexa keyword. Only feedback is to have higher res icons for complications on watch. They look a but pixelated compared to other icons.

It is a garbage app. It works sometimes. Sometimes it doesn’t. Emailed developer and Apple and heard nothing back. As for the developer he finally reached out and made it quite known he has tens of thousands of customers. Wow!!! Good for you. But there are probably thousands that aren’t happy with this garbage in a can app. Update: 12/11/24 App is free now… It’s still garbage

Please make this Carplay compatible

My house can get noisy so being able to control my Alexa devices from my iWatch is so convenient! Not to mention the stressless interface that Voice in a can provides instead of the very frustrating shouts at my closest Alexa device.

Not being able to control Alexa from my (iPhone or) watch has been the vain of my existence since….forever. Discovered this app this morning, installed it in seconds (plus 5 minutes for figuring out iOS shortcuts) and BOOM! The girls now play nicely! Touch my watch and I can control the lights, the irrigation system, scenes, everything. Beautiful!

Only got this to easily drop in on devices in other rooms but it says not supported.

This is an absolutely stellar app and worth every penny asked for. When you play a podcast or the news, the audio quality is superior to any physical Amazon device I’ve ever owned. highly recommended.

I have been using this app daily for the past 3 months. Works well. I did a device swap and number change to my apple watch yesterday. Went to reinstall and it wouldn't work. Emailed Damian (Developer) and had a response within a few hours. During the interim I went to a Apple Store to seek help, I was having trouble with a couple of other issues. It turned out to be a Apple ID problem. Although I got it fixed Damian (Developer) was on top of it, offering his help. Love this App

Love being able to control my Echos with a flip of the wrist and see my shopping lists without whipping out my phone. This is my favorite kind of third-party app: one that integrates -- as much as possible -- the products of two competitors who often try to lock each other out at the expense of their respective customers. The developer of the app is also one of those who will take time to help you over any hurdles you have with using it as opposed to some who respond by saying "sorry you're having a bad experience. Have a nice day." I've got a lot of "take 'em or leave 'em" apps on my watch but this ain't one of them. I heartily recommend it.

It’s just amazing it even works with the watch without the iPhone it’s super 🤩 and for that price it’s a dealbreaker. The fact that you don’t have to say Alexa it’s great, and many adjustments and icon changes. I just hope no server working with my data in the background. And also suggest the same as other user just change the name to assistant or something like that because even having the app I have to look out again the name to write a review
