Scam!!! Don't Install this app!!!!

I used this app as a free version for a bunch of years. Ok i guess... then one day they shifted to a subscription model. The next time i opened it up- bang, 8.50 monthly subscription charged. No warnings, no confirmations. Not refundable! The only come back I have is to post this review and hope it saves someone else from being scammed by these F¥€#%kers.

Huge steaming pile of ****

I recorded some audio. I wanted to trim it. The UI is garbage so I pressed save after selecting the area of audio I wanted. I actually needed to press the scissors so I just saved the whole file again. No dramas, right? Nope. Once you’ve trimmed it once you can never trim again. I tried restarting the app and my whole iPad. I tried moving the audio or copying. I tried exporting but there’s no import function. I tried converting the file “error cannot convert” great. Thanks. Very informative. I have no idea why this is so highly rated, total garbage.

Mixed blessing! 1yr later - my question never been answered

This app has the potential to help many like me. I am legally blind and like many others have wanted a simple straight forward way of recording etc. i tried this, even the transcription, purchased it and tell it will be excellent to recommend...only I probably won’t. Visually impaired folk are able to do a lot these days but there are still times when a question needs to be asked like - can I add to existing recording...or I can’t get my iPhone and my iPad to sync etc. What will stop me from promoting? zero support. No response to two attempts. Very disappointing! So - great product but no one stands behind it.

I have been using Voice Recorder for many years. It is a very simple, very easy app to use and it is extremely reliable. I highly recommend it for good high-quality recording purpose.

Quality of sound deteriorates

Subscription overload

Sorry not paying 3 bucks a month forever for a voice recorded. Just press record has better functionality and you purchase it outright. One star for subscription nonsense. Delete
