## Washnet Description
Washnet is online laundry payment and monitoring system. It is a state-of-the-art mobile and Web App that will help you complete your laundry process with minimal fuss.

Washnet has a cashless payment system that uses debit or credit payment cards, Google Pay and Apple Pay and, PayPal (for certain transactions). Using Washnet, our users can:

Pay as you go
Access Laundry Membership Schemes – if these are enabled at your location, you’ll be able to see them in the App
Send a payment link to a friend or family member - the gift of laundry
Reserve a machine prior to going to the laundry, making sure a machine is available for you
Get notified when a machine becomes available
Get notified when your machine is about to finish
Get automatic refunds if your machine did not start 
Get notified if there is a fault with your machine, including instructions if it is easy to fix, for example a door not closed properly
Washnet has accurate real time monitoring functionality 24/7, letting you know exactly what the status of your laundry is.

Put my clothes in to wash and it was late so no customers support or maintenance available. The machine was spinning and heating my clothes for 3 hours while I tried to open and cancel machine but let me . Had to get the buildings security and he said we gonna have to open with force I am very angry as my clothes are probably ruined but still can’t access them at 4 in the morning and will have until 8 for maintenance. No help and never recommend understand that other people have had this problem 😡😡😡😡

Would give less stars honestly,
Had washers ‘malfunction’ multiple times. But the timer still goes so I end up with soaking clothes. After contacting I was told it was both too heavy a load and too light a load. I’m writing this after the second time it happened. My load was 5kg in a 10kg washer. It still happened. 

Also problematic dryers taking 4 (yes FOUR) 30 minute drys to dry my stuff (again a very reasonable amount of stuff). It was only after swapping to another dryer that it was actually dried. And according to the person I contacted this was my fault? 
Washnet you owe me £4.40 (I’m broke and can’t afford to waste time and money waiting next to a dryer for hours)

if i could give it a zero star i would. rude customer service, asked multiple times for a refund as a machine was broken (of course the machine was available to pay on the app) and blamed me as they said i didnt “check correctly” the machine before using it. the app is really confusing, overall wouldn’t recommend AT ALL

### *---- "SCAM AND DOESN’T WORK"
Yesterday I put three loads of washing on, it took me 5 HOURS! 

The washers constantly soak your washing, the dryers do not dry your clothes. 

NOTHING TO DO WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE WASHING!!

Once I had spent another £2.70 on a different washer, it worked and washed my clothes. 

Once I had spent another £1.30 on a dryer because the previous dryer did NOTHING, the dryer dried the same weight of clothes I had put in the previous one. 

Staff are unhelpful and claim the washers and dryers and serviced weekly, dryer number 1 where I am hasn’t worked for months. 

The student here have to physically break the door open because the washer locks itself and doesn’t start the cycle. 

The woman on the phone suggested I visit another launderette. 

1. I pay to live here with services such as the onsite launderette to actually work. 

2. that would mean lugging my washing basket half a mile and back because Washnet are incompetent. 

Change needs to happen! I dread doing my washing because every time something like this happens! 

I’ve complained so many times about these and nothing ever changes. I’m not the only student who thinks this.

Intentional or not the machines will take your money and there is nothing you can do about it as the customer service for some reason could not refund me as quote “ We cant refund as its not due to the function of our machines.”
Even if it’s not due to the function of the machines my money was still taken and deposited into your banks regardless if I was able to use the machines.
Prices also doubled recently to top of the dreadful service. 
Overall, if you have any other way to wash your clothes do it, do not use this company or it’s services 😁👍

### ***** "Simple and functional!"
This is a brilliant app and Everything I’ve been needing for so long! After using commercial washing machines and launderettes for years this app makes everything seamless and so simple! Cash is definitely a thing of the past and this app makes it so accessible to be able to complete my least favourite chore 😅, without first having to go to the cash point and then get loose change for the machine! Convenience is key and this app absolutely sums that up 👍🏻 the only thing it doesn’t do, is wash and fold my clothes up for me, then I’d give it 6 stars, hats off to the developer.

Despite the reviews, this is an excellent app with great functionality. Those who manage the app offer a brilliant service, and dedicate their time to make the usage as smooth as possible. I had a slight issue and the resolved it instantly. 
Will continue with this app 😊. 

All apps suffer with issues at some point, and it can be a pain but doesn’t mean the app is not worth it for ease when doing your laundry!
