Although it took two passes thru the process, once over the short learning curve I learn everything I need about my pool water.

I have entered my information and I never receive the email to verify my account. I have asked it to resend multiple times and have looked in junk mail but nothing.

We use this together as a family testing water, and everyone knows how to use it. Highly recommend.

Love this app

Love the simplicity. Took me 30 minutes to get my wife up to speed and she isn’t technical at all. I’m out of town all the time for work so she is the maintenance tech. We love it!

I upgrade from colorq to colorq2x because the blind tooth reporting and data collection sounded awesome. To date (numerous tries) I have never completed a test. Every time the phone goes to sleep , a record is missed, something goes wrong. The whole thing is kind of flakey (both the color q and the software and together they are a bit of a fail.

I just purchased the ColorQ 2X and downloaded the app. I am a new user and trying to create an account is pathetic. I put in name and what password I want and that’s all there is folks. I scanned the reviews on here and cannot see where the app creators answer peoples questions. I don’t need this app any how, I do have log book and pen!!!

There is no option for manually inputting or editing results. So, if my iPhone times out and locks while a test is being performed, that result won’t get captured unless you cycle back through all the tests. The app really needs an edit and a manual entry option. Also, the app spits out recommendations, which is nice I suppose. But they skipped a step whereby the result is compared to the target range. Unless you memorize, you have to now cross reference to some other source to see how high/low each of your tests are against target. I’m deleting and finding an app that I can just manually input the data.

I just used this app with my ColorQ 2x unit. The app connected and I performed all the tests… but there are now results logged in the app, or not anywhere I can find them. Good thing I wrote them down while testing! What’s the point of this app if it doesn’t record properly?

Some good things with this app but also some bad. It’s nice having all my results go directly to the app so I don’t have to keep a spreadsheet anymore. But sometimes it times out and I lose all of my results. But the biggest issue is the horrible recommendations. I’m not going to drain 40% of my pool because my calcium hardness is 4 ppm out of range. No one is going to do that. And if anything else is out of range you get no further instructions. This app should be able to tell me what my pool store would. My alkalinity is low but the only instruction I get is to drain 40%. So from that respect, it’s rather useless. If they can fix the recommendations and the timing out, I would give it 4 stars.
