Westpac One is innovative online banking that’s easy to use and continuously improving.
With this app you can do so much more of your banking, no matter where you are. The Westpac One app allows you to securely access your Westpac accounts with Face ID, Touch ID or a five digit PIN, with a full range of banking features like the ability to:
- apply for loans and credit cards
- temporarily block your credit card if you lose it
- make payments to accounts in New Zealand or overseas
- open a new account
- open and view term deposits
- and much more.
There’s also a smart Timeline feature – where you can view, search and filter all your transactions from all your accounts in the one place.
Plus you can check the balance of selected accounts and transfer between those accounts without having to log in
All backed up by Westpac’s world-class online security, Online Guardian.

If you are a Westpac customer, but not registered for online banking, call us on 0800 400 600 (Weekdays 7 am – 8 pm and Saturday & Sunday 8 am – 5 pm) or visit your local branch to register.

A very easy safe and quick app to setup Thanks
Urgently needs redesign
App urgently needs a refresh - looking very dated and hard to use to other banking apps in the market. Just reuse the Australian Westpac app, it’s much cleaner and friendly to use!
Could be easier to use
Would be a lot easier to use if it was similar to Westpac Au app, Face ID login, and tap and drag to transfer between accounts
Apple Watch compatibility
Does not work well with Apple Watch. It doesn’t display balances 9 times out of 20

Terrible bring back the original app
This app is far far from finished. Westpac one has lost all the neat settings from the original app like rearranging the view of your accounts, sending your bank account details in txt directly from the app and the efficient way to transfer money across accounts has now been lost. There are so many steps to what was such a simple process before. Westpac you have failed!
Blank screen
On so many occasions when opening the App, it just shows a blank screen, I have to close and reopen a few times for the App to load properly, very annoying.
Unreliable. Most frustrating bank app ever.
This is the most annoying and frustrating banking app ever. It often shows incorrect balances, does not complete transactions or just doesn’t even allow you to login. The way the errors are handled with just ‘something went wrong’ is awful design and makes for a very painful experience. This banking app fails to meet the basic requirements for a bank app and it’s so incredibly disappointing.
Always lagging
Try to login in and it just freezes this has been happening for years as well.
