Latest release is buggy, logs you out of Face ID, freezes, also have not had much luck receiving txt notifications.

Every iOS developer needs to study this app, it’s the best example of it’s kind. ‘How not to write an app’. It’s not a native app, it’s a web application and all the terrible things that brings. Ugly interface with a capital ‘U’. Instability. And bizarre design decisions that are user hostile. The UI is diabolical. Lots of white everywhere and a general lack of colour for no purpose other than to make it difficult to see information you want at a glance. And why do I need two apps to track my spending? Stupidity in the first degree. Developers left behind web apps a long time ago, Westpac needs to catch up. There are so many better native banking apps out there, all they need to do is download a couple for a lesson in how to do things right.

The app keeps crashing and I have to keep deleting then download it again

it's a pain having to enter a username and password everytime - how bout using a 4 digit pin like other banking apps?

Got in easy, checked balances, made a transfer and a payment without a problem. Wondering whether an extra layer of security might be useful though.

Worst banking app in New Zealand. I've used both the ASB and BNZ apps, which are much more advanced and offer more freedom for users. I used BNZ for the last six years and never had to call them to change the account on my card.

Can your app support actually go somewhere? I click on it to hopefully divert to an area where I can report the app now working but it gives me a list of stuff that is not relevant, what a pain. Another thing I’ve suggested but it hasn’t been activated yet you can do it with other banks, is clicking on a payee and seeing your most recent payments to them. Anyhoo, app could be better and there’s a fault right now

This app would be great if it didn’t have an ongoing bug for iOS users, that sees it regularly deny access to it. Continual long term login issues makes it very unreliable and frustrating to use. Wish this would be rectified as it has been an issue for roughly a year now and am tired of uninstalling and reinstalling or having to try and go through a web browser to access my online banking (which has started playing up also).

I've generally found the app to work well, but authentication issues have been making it unusable. One of the main benefits of using the app over using the website should be that I can quickly and easily sign in: this is not the case. I'm constantly met with errors the majority of the times I attempt to sign in using both touch ID and PIN. I've contacted support before, with the only advice being to fully reinstall the app and clear browsing data in Safari which temporarily fixes the issue but then it comes back with a vengeance. At this stage, it has been almost a week where I've not been able to successfully authenticate a single time despite trying multiple times a day. I cannot use this app if I have to reinstall it every couple of weeks just to be able to sign in.

I’m stuck out in the cold because your app wont work and I can’t transfer funds for an uber or lime scooter. Sort it out asap. This is so unprofessional. I’ll be changing banks if this keeps happening.
