Before I got my litter robot 4 my cat Toffee (unfortunately no longer with us) used to poo at the side of the toilet if the litter wasn’t fresh. This got worse when we got a new kitten Binx. Every day I would wake up to a poo next to the toilet. Until we got the litter robot 4! Both cats used it right away and because the cycle cleans it after every use, no more poo next to the toilet. It doesn’t smell at all, if you’re hesitating to buy this, don’t.

Good however would be better if I could change which weight belongs to which cat. I have 3 very similar weight cats. I can see that a certain cat has been in the robot but it assigns the weight to another cat.

Like most iOT devices, nice hardware, terrible app, probably done by someone’s nephew. Don’t get too excited about the weighting capabilities cause it can only show you one week… so dumb

This saves me so much time every day, it’s absolutely brilliant and gets rid of smells straight away. Only thing is a little litter will still spread as my cat comes out despite the tray in front of it to collect any excess and a higher adapter to male the cat lift the paws before coming out. I have a mat in front which gets tid of this excess but it’s a square mat while the base is round, so it sticks out a little, and I can put slightly under but would be better if I could buy a mat that fits around it so doesn’t affect the scales. But overall, very satisfied with the product. The litter spread problem I have with every litter tray.

Had a few different automatic cat little trays. All with many different problems and issues leading to quite labour intensive to maintain. The litter robot 4 is by far the best thing since sliced bread. Yes it’s expensive to buy, but the hassle free amazing design works and works Everytime. The information you get from the app is invaluable. Letting you know when to empty, your cats weight, which cat has been using it and when. You can be guaranteed that your cat will have a clean tray 100% of the time and a house that doesn’t smell like a cats tray. Thanks to the litter robot 4 we discovered That our little fur baby is having fur babies, after we notice the weight gain with out her showing signs of pregnancy. So over all this is a genuine amazing product that we could not live with out. Just 1 piece of advice. They do insurance that will cover for 4 years. Meaning 4 hassle free years for us and our 5 fur babies, soon to be a lot more. To never have to scoop poo again is liberating lol

“How much?” Was our first thought but after getting an LR4, believe us, it’s worth every penny. We’ve two cats and one of them was on board straight away but her brother took more convincing, eventually turning into a standoff between him and me and a second very dirty litter tray alongside the LR to try to get him to see the light. Took a couple of weeks before he realised the LR wasn’t out to kill him. Now they both love it. The LR litter disposal bags are expensive and oversize, but we’ve tried other bags without success so we’ve had to bite the bullet and go original which isn’t brilliant for the environment. So much easier for us, the cats and our cat sitters when we’re away. Normally need to change the bag every 3 days (depending on use) so looking back it’s an absolute no brainier. If you’re thinking about it, just do it. It’ll make life so much easier for you and the kitties in your life. Jools, Karen, Rags and Rosehearty 😻😻

Dear wisker team can you make an upgrade on the weight checking on the app for the cats so it shows proper number on the weight instead of it just showing 3.1 or 5.8 it should show 3.12kg or 3.15kg or 5.80kg or 5.90kg not just two number like 3.1 or 5.8 etc

Loses connection every few weeks. You need to repeatedly go through the setup process. For what you pay for this kit, the reliability is embarrassingly poor.

While expensive, this has been a worthwhile investment and the app is particularly useful for monitoring.

Most people here seem to be reviewing the Litter Robot here, rather than the app. The app is much worse. Slow to load, often totally fails fetching info and then shows (incorrectly) that there’s no activity or data. Fails to update settings. Smart Scale so far totally useless and wrong. I wonder if I waste more time on the app than I save in scooping litter 🤔
