The equivalent of a putting a reminder on a post-it note and sticking it on your monitor…with your voice. I love it!

The equivalent of a putting a reminder on a post-it note and sticking it on your monitor…with your voice. I love it!
Whisper Memos has got to be one of the best apps I've ever installed on my iPhone, period. It has become indispensable to me since I started using it a couple of weeks ago. I don't know if the way you think is similar to my thought process, but I often have an idea that flashes into my mind, and by the time I open the appropriate app to record my ideas, another idea or some distraction causes my idea to disappear, and it's too late to record it. However, with Whisper Memos, both for the iPhone and Apple Watch, my ideas can be recorded instantly and sent to my email inbox, where I can later distribute these ideas and tasks in the appropriate app at my leisure. You can also ask Whisper Memos to remind you about your idea or task and it will then appear on your iPhone lock screen until you process and delete it. I place a high value on the fleeting and often unrecoverable ideas and tasks that come to mind, and forgetting them almost as quickly as they appear in my mind happens all too frequently, and often when it is not convenient to find and open the appropriate app on my iPhone. The Apple Watch integration is especially valuable to me, as I only have to tap once on the Whisper Memos complication that lives on my Apple Watch screen and it starts recording instantly, and then stops recording with a single tap on my Apple Watch screen. Whisper Memos is a subscription-based product, and I know that bothers some people. However, the app is in active development, and the developer is very responsive to users. In my opinion, Whisper Memos is definitely worth the annual subscription price, especially when you calculate how little it will cost you per month. I highly recommend Whisper Memos.
Nice little app but after trial comes in as a pretty expensive extravagance. I deleted it.
I appreciate how straightforward this app is — you hit record, you talk, you end the recording and then it processes your speech and emails nicely formatted paragraphs to you. I don't like listening to voice memos but still wanted the benefits/speed of thinking out loud and an organized transcript I could look at later, so this app really fulfilled that need. Thank you!
This app is sitting in my Taskbar among Phone, browser and time management app. I guess there's no need to say anything else. ;-) My rating: 99/100 and the last point already sent to developers as improvement recommendation. For me, WM is the pick of the year.
Absolutely amazing.
Easy to see Whisper Memos as part of my going forward workflow. Still testing out its limits. Kudos to the development team for its dual simplicity and span of uses.
I’m a huge fan of Whisper Memos. I am regularly in situations with my hands full or in the middle of something and being able to quickly capture a voice note and close the app and know that I’ll have my transcript waiting for me in the email inbox when I get to my desk is one of my favorite pieces of magic these new technologies have provided
I have tested three AI transcription apps, and Whisper Memos is the clear winner for its smooth and accurate performance. Some may not appreciate its emailing feature, but that is precisely what helps you remember what you recorded. P.S. I used Whisper Memos to dictate my notes for this review.
After I downloaded the app, it prompted me to sign into my email. I put my email in receive a login link and when I opened up the link from the email I received, it doesn’t register in the app. I’m not sure if this is a user error or if the current version has a bug.
