Money ruined the app
Previously I would say Wuxiaworld was the best reading app for web novels, especially with their monopoly on big name novels.
However since they started introducing as many ways to make you pay for nothing new, the apps started going downhill.
Keys, karma, subscriptions and championing - add nothing to your experience but cost real world money.
Subscriptions. Not worth it. Unless you get diamond, but £20 per month for 2/3 books and you can find newer chapters on other sites.
Just cancelled my VIP account because Support is useless. App is constantly buggy.
Ridiculous update
Cultivation keys? Karma thrown out the window? Leaving comments, you know, interacting with the community, doesn’t increase your karma anymore? You have to read NEW chapters to key “keys”? And yet unlocking chapters requires karma, which doesn’t seem to increase; I took a screenshot of before and after commenting and nada… nothing. What if some people, like myself, are only interested in a couple of novels? Are we punish for not reading more novels by not being able to “read 10 new chapters “ to get 4 “keys”? Always going back ways, eh Wuxiaworld, and never forwards. 😂🙂↔️. You’ve seen the mass of low quality novels your site has been signing off on, and how some are so badly translated (e.g The Sovereign’s Ascension is the most egregious of them all), and you want people to read more when the quality is getting worse? Now when we spend Karma, we permanently lose Karma, as we can’t earn it by commenting. Does that make sense?
A sad time for Wuxiaworld
This used to be my favourite app by far. I have loved using Wuxiaworld for years and have been paying a subscription the entire time to help support them.
However, since the takeover from this new company, all that is left is a money grubbing shell.
Next chapter
Great update - love the new design but for some reason it stopped going to the next chapter automatically. Getting annoying so fix it

What an app, been using it mostly for a year or two and gotta say even if they are making the website less affordable for people who wanna binge read it’s perfect for people like me who just read one or two novels and can spend their well bundled up karma on just a few novels. But the app is great, no bugs at all from my experience and runs very smoothly :)

This app it’s miles ahead of the other novel apps, but I’m having problems after the last update. I can read offline anymore after I download a novel so please fix it. Thank you.
Great app, great translations
I’ve been reading on Wuxiaworld ever since I discovered coiling dragon way back when. The feelings I get reading translations now haven’t changed. If there’s one thing I can say about the translators here it’s that they produce quality and their app is no different.
Wuxiaworld has grown so much from when I first started reading and I couldn’t be happier. Cheers to all the translators and developers for producing such excellent work.

It is the best app to read novels I have been able to find. I especially like the ability to download chapters as it means I can read it while traveling.
One slight problem I have with it is that unlike the website on the app the spoiler title feature doesn’t seem to work. Other than that it is great and easy to use.
