Software is unable to send notice anymore when someone is approaching the door.

Hi. Works well but recently the notifications stopped making this useless. Please fix asap.

I bought this doorbell camera a couple of years ago, worked fine for a while then it has started to miss people coming up to the house and now it cannot connect to my wifi. It says that connects to 2.4G band but it asks for a password and it’s wrong all the time. I would like to talk to a representative. The app is old, never update ?!

The whole point of getting a wifi doorbell was so it would ring my phone. The sales listing I bought it from showed it ringing a phone. It doesn’t ring. So I bought a chime to go with it, paired it, and sure enough it doesn’t work. Paired doorbells don’t work in my house, or they work for a week or two and then die. I don’t know why. All I wanted was a wifi doorbell that would alert me reliably if someone was there, or if a delivery person had done a dump and run. The push notification is useless. If I could change the tone to something just for the doorbell maybe it would be handy, but when it’s the same generic tone as everything else it’s pointless. Plus of course the delay means it’s pretty pointless as by the time I get the push notification and walk from the back of my house to the front door, the person has assumed I’m not home because they don’t know I’m on my way which I can’t tell them because it hasn’t rung. According to a search, the problem is that there was an iPhone update which made the calls not work and the app developer hasn’t bothered to release a fix. Pathetic. If you’ve just bought this doorbell, send it back and get a refund. The only thing this might be good for is keeping an eye on the chickens. Maybe.

It works when I am on the same wifi but if I leave the house I get notifications but no monitor viewing, it was working prior to update

It is not working when my phone is not in same wifi network, when I am out of home and someone ring the bell, I get alerts but cant see video and voice hearing

Who programmed this a 5 year old? Absolute junk, this app in conjunction with a clearly cheap chinese door bell is a joke. Cant skip to specific times, door bell goes into pairing mode randomly after already being set up, door bell activates when PIR set to disable (probably CCP spying haha) just JUNK all round

I installed this doorbell when I moved into my new house almost exactly 1 year ago. It seems to have died 2 days ago, but I didn’t realise. It was always pretty slow to react to motion and doorbell presses, delaying up to 10 seconds and, since it only records 8 seconds at a time, missing the action. Then it stopped sending notifications and I would only see someone at the door if I opened the app manually at the time. Now it just doesn’t work at all. It still seems to be paired, but instead of the camera view I have a refresh button, which doesn’t refresh. On the positive side, the picture quality was always pretty good and the night vision was good, too. Would recommend it as a cheap, short term solution, but not a good long term option.

Since the last update I no longer receive notification on my iPhone ether by PIR or when the bell is pushed. This renders my door bell useless if I’m not home to hear it. Not very happy
