Year Walk

I cannot hear the sound nor can I find the menu as in it’s just the game, my volume buttons on high but no sound?! I loved this game in the past but just paid for it and without the sound it’s not a great experience. Any help and advice appreciated !!

Another astounding game from these developers, I adored Device 6 one of the best games ever made and this is right up there with it, it’s creepy with brilliant atmosphere and cracking puzzles, it does take a brain cell or 2 so unfortunately those without have dragged the rating down, I bought the sailors dream after this and what a beautiful experience that was......SIMOGO you truly have my heart 💖. Edit: so 8 years or so on and I have replayed this incredible game this time with the companion guide to open the box, wow how did I miss the ending the first time, breathtaking, loved reading the diary, this really is a masterpiece of storytelling and has stood the test of time only get better with improved visuals, I’m so glad it’s been kept updated. I love you Simogo.

Beautiful graphics and sound, unlike any IOS game I’ve ever played. But terribly easy puzzles, leaving me completing the game in about 30 minutes. Not good value for the price. Left with a complete sense of longing and incompletion.

I've heard people raving about this for years so grabbed it when it was 99p and I still don't think it's worth the money. A poor mans Myst that's not nearly as clever or atmospheric as it thinks it is.

Challenging, rewarding and genuinely creepy. Makes great use of iPad features. I loved this game.

I loved Device 6, perhaps my favourite game. And the reviews seemed to indicate that this was even better. Well, disappointingly, it's not. The navigation for a start was so confusing that I had to draw a map. Then I was stuck, and resorted to look at a walkthrough to get further (which I never had to do with Device 6). But when I saw the answers to the puzzles I never thought "Oh, why didn't I see that!", instead I thought "I'd never have thought of doing that in a million years" - not intuitive solutions at all. In fact, I have now given up. I hate having to rely on walkthroughs. Shame. Still a great company.

And then TERRIFYING. amazing calming graphics, and interesting idea. Was very slow at first because I wasn't sure of what to do, but then slowly got into it. Very nice, albeit a bit confused of what it wanted to be.
