YI Smart Dash Camera

Now cannot even connect to my dash cam

Ever since the new IOS is out, this app cannot connect to my car's dashcam. Please update

Prompted me to connect to wifi. But when I did, I was still unable to get out of the page.

After updated iOS 12.1 cannot connect anymore!

Bought the car cam because of reputable brand. But still....it’s made in China. Look impressive but when comes to when you need it, it will fail you.

WiFi transfer of the videos is really convenient but is only useable 20% of the time if distance is anything more than 20cm between phone and camera. Very frustrating when transferring videos via the WiFi connection trying about 5 times on each and every single video to get it downloaded to phone successfully. Most often it just disconnects itself and reconnect again after a few seconds. Connection is only much better when phone is placed within a few centimeters of camera, literally touching each other.

Remote snapshots failure & wifi breaks frequently, otherwise a 5 star App.

The app consistently crashes. Videos are not properly dated nor is video properly recorded. I’ve tried to work with this app/dash cam for months and have made no progress. I do not recommend this brand to anyone.

Fix your app.

I have had this camera for a couple of years now and I have only been able to connect to it twice…twice!!! The recordings are decent.
