YI Smart Dash Camera

I’ve had this for 2 years, 1st year loved it however the last year it’s gradually got worse and worse to the point you can’t watch a recording due to slow pausing speed, can’t download it due to an error code. Think it’s time to get rid and buy something else as totally pointless now, not fit for use.

This app does not work with the camera anymore. It’s completely impossible to download the videos. I need a video for an accident as someone has ploughed into me, but the video just isn’t there to download. So thanks to yi I’ve now got to settle 50/50 with the other driver, which will cost me a fortune when I renew my premium. So yeah, thanks for that 😡

The app used to connect to the cam but does not any more. Strange to see why this would happen and the help pages are useless. Just restart, restart, restart.

I have bought a few dash cams over the years and this has to be one of the best out there for the price and the fact that it has a app which lets you watch clips without removing the sd card or unit to do so is great. The Picture quality is spot on and the fact cam a a accident impacted recording feature helps if some hits your car when your parked up is and Added bonus.

When downloading the app I can’t even select the correct location as all selections are black fields. Only rating 1 star as I don’t think I can select 0

App said it was updated for iOS 13 but it is still broken

No longer works with ios13, was perfect before, now phone connects to ssid, but app does not see it connected. Both my wifes cam and mine both our iphones. Contacted Yi, who suggested rolling back to ios12, they just don’t care. Switched to another brand now, i will never buy another YI product

Waste of time doesn’t recognise device even when connected to Wi-fi

Great when it worked, doesn’t work now after update as it won’t connect to WiFi. Sort it out for god sake. It’s totally useless now, considering buying a new camera.
