Good program bad app
Program is great but app is very difficult to navigate. When I first started the program the app was much more practical and simple. Please revert back to the previous version prior to the most recent ipdate.

I purchased the membership for $60 just to find out that I need to pay additional $70 to access 21 day stretching challenge. This is not an honest way of doing business
I do both the science of stretching and the 21 day hip opening challenge. Both programs are great and can be done by pretty much anyone as long as you know your limits and do the regression (modified) versions of the stretches if needed. My only complaint is how clunky the app is. Science of stretching stopped loading on my iPad so I have to go to the website. The app isn’t really a custom tailored app it more of a detuned website.
The material is amazing but it’s difficult to navigate the app as it continuously loops back to the starting page.
I love the videos and stretches- time will tell if they significantly improve my flexibility but I am seeing some baby gains after 2 weeks. Doing them before bed gets me nice and relaxed as well. Here are my gripes with the app: Constantly glitching/ takes forever to load Never remembers my login info Doesn’t work well with airplay/screen mirroring Layout is counterintuitive
- There is no benefit to using the app over browsing the content via web browser. + The “21-day hip challenge” is a solid challenge, and I find the stretches to be helpful. I appreciate that the instructor provides variations. - I find myself muting the audio, because the constant talking is distracting and not a relaxing tone; feels like I’m sitting at a university lecture, rather than a yoga studio. It’s less beginner guidance and more high-level educational, which is beneficial on it’s own, but not during practice while I’m giving it my all just to hold the pose. - The video could be improved; needs to be focused on center of mat and zoomed in a bit more. Angle is too high; top half of the screen is useless. Would be better if it was centered on the instructors torso and zoomed in more.
The app is good but it is only designed for an iPhone. Most fitness apps have both versions so you can take advantage of the larger screen space on an iPad. Right now it is only formatted to iPhones but still displays on iPads but can’t be used in landscape mode and only uses 60% of the screen.
The app is straightforward and easy to use. The content is terrific. I am working my way through the 21-day hip opening challenge and it’s already made a huge difference.
Been doing yoga for a while but really love how Lucas explains which muscles are being stretched and what’s happening inside.helps me connect with my body. I wish I can download the app on Apple TV though.that’s the only down side from it
