All I get is a white screen. Im not sure if this a really exists.

Even though this was cheap, I had high hopes for it because 99.8% of everything else I have gotten off Temu(I have spent well over $2,000) has been great quality and well worth what I paid for it. This however… this little gadget is a complete and utter waste of time, money and just an all around disappointment. It says nowhere on Temu, in the description, in the reviews- NOWHERE that this thing required a SIM card of some kind. What kind? I have absolutely no idea because there are no instructions on how to actually get the thing up and running. I got this to track my son because I can’t afford expensive as heck Apple air tags and we have been having trouble with our 12 1/2 year old just taking off from the house and not Coming straight home from school and staying out for hours past when school lets out. To the point I have had to call the police 3 times already because i was such a nervous wreck. The last officer I dealt with is who told me there were other options for tracking that were much cheaper than the air tags and suggested I do some research on it after I informed him that using the find my iphone app did no good if he turned it off or stopped sharing his location with me which he did every single time he didnt want me to know where he was. So again, giving temu thr benefit of the doubt bc I truly felt thry deserved that from me, I bought this one and now here we are…. cant even try and sneak his phone to turn his location sharing with me back on because he recently claimed he "lost his phone" and it hasnt been seen since. So after this long rant(more about my son than the actual gps device- My apologies) if anyone actually reads this and has any recommendations for tracking devices etc that are AFFORDABLE(and no, $50-100 for one thing is not affordable to ME!!) Please comment and let me know!!!! I cant express how much I would appreciate it! Thank you to everyone that actually took the time to read this and to anyone that can send some suggestions my way!!!

How do I factory reset on this device? On the app I go to factory reset an error pops up? Help

Can’t even open the app as I get a white screen and GPS system does not seem to work through text either so huge waist of money..

Doesn’t work unless you add a Sim card in stupid have to add it to monthly paying bill waste of money. It doesn’t even work you have to all the directions are in chat Beneze you have to and they’re so small you have to use a magnifying glass. It’s a stupid app do not recommend it’s stupid if by your stupid.
