I incorrectly organised two transfers from Tony Maple to Rosemary Maple I have not been able to edit them or remove them

I recently tried to do a Cash Send transaction of R4900, which all went out of my account with no issues. When the recipient tried to withdraw the funds, this is not an option at an ATM as the limit is R4000. At no point while I was doing this transaction does it say anything about the ATM limit. What it does say is that the whole amount sent has to be withdrawn at once. How can this be done if there is an ATM withdrawal amount limit? Something which is supposed to make life easier has been very difficult.

If you live abroad - this app and ABSA is the start to your troubles. They just not interested - “Come in and see us” I’ve heard that just too many times.

New App version not working. Asks for Id number then keeps connecting.. such a bad app design!!

Cannot close credit card online and bank is still charging fir fees if card is not required or used in the last 10 months

Got a new mobile number and phone, and after transferring the app to the new phone and changed my mobile number to the new number on the app. After this the 2 step verification did not work. I deleted the app and reinstalled it, and now it does not register the new number and I cannot link my new device since the “verification” request is STILL being sent to my previous number. I live abroad and cannot physically go to the bank to sort this out. Really really disappointing - unfortunately I am now forced to consider changing to a different bank since this is not the first (or last) issue I have had with Absa.

I had the same issue after I updated the app. It’s really annoying.

After upgraded version 6.20.1,lost all data. How can I do for this issue online because I am abroad?

Updated app and now 2 step verification does not work, all was well until update. Sent e-mail to supplied address and no response. Sitting in Australia and can do no transactions as a result of flawed update.

I live in Australia but still use my ABSA account to donate to charities etc in SA. My Absa card was stolen and then later my app ceased to work. I can only reinstall the app by using the number of my old card. But no one will give it to me. I can’t come into the branch....planes aren’t flying because of COVID. I am wiling to answer a myriad of security questions if someone would just help me. Surely some contingency plan can be made during a pandemic Distressed Down Under
