Acrosync - private cloud drive powered by rsync

Приложения такого типа - с хорошей синхронизацией, - редкость. Работает быстро, настраивается легко, что-то показывает. Вот только Open In не работает в платной версии - черный квадрат вместо списка приложений. Посему, платить смысла нет никакого. Разработчики что-то написали невнятное - посмотрим, починим, - но воз и ныне там. Одна звезда за синхронизацию.

Upon trying to connect to my Ubuntu 20.04.3 server with the iOS-Acrosync-client, the sshd server on said server gives me the following error message: „ Unable to negotiate with 109.40.242.66 port 35979: no matching key exchange method found. Their offer: diffie-hellman-group14-sha1,diffie-hellman-group-exchange-sha1,diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 [preauth]“ Nothing works, neither SSH nor rsync, I get nothing but connection errors (rsync: „broken pipe“; SSH: „… unable to exchange encryption keys“) Email registration for the forum does also not work, because the registration email (although repeatedly requested) does not get delivered. Refund requested.

Great App. Will use it until syncthing is coming to iOS. Would be great to see how much diskspace is used.

I would like this app so much if it would work with my Qnap NAS. I couldnt make it run. Dont know. On the NAS i have activated the rsync server but it doesnt work. I cannot see and choose any folders. There is only "home" directory. I am missing a detailed installation guide.

Diese App arbeitet über SSH-Protokoll und nutzt dabei sftp des Servers. Es ist niemals ein rsync Client! Für mich ein glatter Betrug am Kunden. Dieser Anbieter gehört aus dem Appel-Store gesperrt! Its never a rsync client!

The app hasn’t been updated in years, and is not compatible with newer SSH servers, because it relies on insecure encryption settings. Even if you figure out how to enable the insecure encryption on the server (which is a security hole), the app has other random errors that are impossible to debug. Also, since it hasn’t been updated, it’s not compatible with multitasking. You have to keep it in the foreground to transfer anything (when it even works). This app shouldn’t be for sale.

This app wouldn’t connect to rsync.net on my iPhone 8. I contacted tech support, but their answer was essentially “it works here.” Well, my rsync account works with Linux rsync on my office computer and a Rackspace server. Acrosync doesn’t use the Linux rsync though: they wrote their own. Maybe that’s a good place to look for a problem. Uninstalled.

Syncs perfectly to device and has a built-in file manager that has its own file opening software for all file types. Only issue is you have to manually download or upload but that's no big deal for what I'm using it for since most changes are made on the server. Great app worth the money in my opinion!

Worked right away with my Qnap and Thecus NAS boxes. Looking good so far.
