Adobe Photoshop

I was opening photoshop but when I tried to create a image, It said that I need to get more storage when I literally have no other items in there. How can I fix this?

After spending about 100 hours with this app, I’m pretty happy with it, but it has some extreme annoyances that would be simple to address. Using an Apple Pencil is a revelation — I thought I was bad at Ps, turns out I was using the wrong input tools. 1. Cannot send photos from Photos App to Ps for editing. You can to Ps Express, Lightroom, and other Adobe apps, but not Ps. I’ve got hundreds of photos that look the same as a thumbnail. When I see one I want to edit in Photos app, I have to open Ps, then tap import, maximize the thumbnail size, then scroll for several minutes until I find the photo. Workaround: I created an album just for putting the photo I want to edit in temporarily. 2. Cannot turn off “snap to” feature. When finely adjusting positioning or resizing, tough luck, it’s going to jump where it feels like. When it goes where you want, it’s convenient, but more often than not, it doesn’t. This alone makes Ps not worth spending money on — why have pro editing software that only lets you edit like an amateur? 3. Liquify is a great tool, but since it only shows you the current selection and not the entire canvas and layers, it’s frustrating to use. You have to look at the full image, picture how you want to liquify, enter liquify mode, blindly make your edits, exit liquify to check the results, and repeat. Workaround: flatten visible, select all, copy, undo to unflatten, paste as new layer, liquify in that layer, then lasso the result, duplicate that to a new layer and merge it to the layer you were trying to edit. Probably this is for performance reasons, but the fact that the workaround exists means there’s a solution — the liquify editor could work off a flattened or semi-flattened (current layer/selection + visible layers). Pixel count doesn’t seem to affect performance. The galling thing is that other Adobe mobile products with liquify are better at it. I use Photoshop Fix for most of my liquify needs, but for that, you have to export your Ps image as JPEG, import to Fix, export it back to JPEG, then re-import to Ps. Even more galling: Fix is just an ad for Ps Express, which has lots of upsells, but it works so much better than Ps Express, I deleted Ps Express. I’m too lazy to leave a separate review for Ps Express, but it’s such utter garbage.

It was awful 5 years ago and it’s awful today. I don’t understand how this app is so dreadful. I’ve been looking at the same upcoming features for five years now!

Did anyone test the quasi-2FA login screen before rolling it out live? Changing apps to get the 2FA 6 digit authorization and switching back to the Photoshop app screen causes the 2FA dialog to close and reset, requiring you enter your email again…but also a new 2FA code to be generated. It requires a second device to get the code so that the 2FA dialog is never dismissed. It essentially makes it impossible to log in if you only have one device (like your iPad) available.

I hate that I have to PAY LITERALLY PAY FOR JUST A APP

Editing on photoshop on iPad is nothing compared to desktop or laptop. I don’t understand why either given my iPad is more powerful. I like working from iPad too bc of the convenience. Their are plenty of other cheaper apps that do the same if not more on the iPad. So I don’t understand how the iPad subscription can be so pricey. At the very least they should lower the cost. I been keeping the subscription thinking their would be huge updates up unfortunately that hasn’t been the case, So I’ll be canceling.

I have a lot of trouble with the text format. Some of the navigation is extremely buggy and counter intuitive. My process and work flow is regularly interrupted by the bugs. With how much money adobe costs, I really wish there would be better development and resources put into the apps. All that being said, I love photoshop and I really want this app to be up to scuff with other adobe products
