Adobe Photoshop

There are so many features that are present in the desktop version, very much missing from this iPad version. Simple things like guides, rulers and grids are nowhere to be seen. As for what else is missing, you’ll find out as soon you try to open any PSD file created on the desktop version. Have checked in on this iPad version a few times now since launch and next to nothing has changed. For a subscription based service, that is far from okay. If people are paying monthly fees, there needs to be monthly updates at the very least. Those updates need to be big too, as the monthly subscription price currently costs arounds the same as the one-off single payment price of Procreate and the Affinty Photoshop equivalent. Eagerly awaiting the day that Adobe products are no longer seen as the industry standard.

You cant use the damn thing WITHOUT paying a ridiculous amount of money, and what happened to adobe photoshpe mix???

Tried to cancel my subscription - even received an email confirming my subscription got cancelled, only for Adobe to keep charging me afterwards. I called up to resolve the issue and was instead told that I would have to cancel again - with paying cancellation fees and the money they took from me already would not be returned. They told me the best they could do was to keep me on the plan for the rest of the year, but waver the fee for the next 3 months, but I will still have to keep paying for remainder of the year. When I showed the representative the email confirmation of the cancellation, she ignored me and pretend she didn’t see it. I’d been using Adobe for years and simply had to cancel my subscription while I shift jobs, but instead got scammed out of $600+. Genuinely disgusted. For anyone reading this, if you decide to use Adobe products regardless of reviews like mine, keep an eye on your bank account.

As part of our commitment to providing quality product, the latest release of the Photoshop app, you can no longer directly import RAW files from the Photo Library. To streamline this process, we now allow you to export said files into another app such as Files, Dropbox etc then you must reimport the files from there into photoshop where we create our own copy of the file, leaving the original or rather the exported file from the photo library to take up valuable space in your cloud, dropbox, etc account, where it serves no further purpose. You’re welcome, Team Adobe: the masters of streamlining workflow.

Why can’t we have the same features as the PC version?.. I would use it much more if it did.

I downloaded this expecting to have the same abilities as the PC version. But more than half the tools are gone.

Not the Photoshop you expect. It’s misleading to call this Photoshop. Just a photo viewer with a few basic features. Apple Photos is better.

This app is not free. It requires a subscription to use it. I don’t have a problem with apps costing money, but it should clearly state that on the App Store instead of having the get button. How the app actually functions I have no idea.
