Makes me want to switch banks. If the app crashes when trying to deposit checks, what’s the point?

The Advantis Union Mobile app does not work. On multiple attempts to log in, I get an error code and cannot login. If I do succeed at the login, the app shuts down each time I take a photo of the check front for a mobile deposit. I only have two checks to deposit, and over an hour has been spent, with only one check successfully deposited. I’m about to switch banks.

I was concerned coming from a large bank to a credit union when it came to the technology side of things. But, after getting setup with online banking, I legit had no reason to have that concern. The Advantis CU app is far more intuitive and detailed than what Bank of America offers. It’s great!

The Zelle option in Advantis’ app hasn’t been working for a few days now. I don’t even get to the point of entering the amount to send. I tried using Zelle’s app directly and it sends me to the Advantis app. We called to report it, held a long time, were told we’d get a call back but nobody has called. Normally Advantis has been great, our preferred credit union by far. This needs fixed faster.

I love this bank, and the app generally. Only complaint is that im recent months, split screen hasn’t been working. This was super helpful for having side by side windows on my budgeting software and bank account. Please bring it back!

It has been broken on my iPhone 14 for quite some time. The back of check photo either crashes the app or simply doesn’t get retained. I’m on iOS 17.3.1, so the latest. Huge waste of time to have to go to the branch. There’s the drive time, and explaining to the teller why I’ve written “for mobile deposit only” on a check the app couldn’t process. Might open a bank account somewhere else just so I don’t have to keep going to the branch just because they feel their engineering time is too valuable to fix this bug. My time is valuable too.

It was working just fine until it made me update the app. Now the button to take photos does nothing and I can’t deposit my check online
