Application interface is user-friendly, but there is a ball jumping each time you’re opening the application. It is making too much strain for the eyes

I booked a package for Thailand through Akbar travels, they said flight package and land package is different, I paid the full amount for the flight though it is more compared to other flight booking apps, but since I was going through conducted tour, I wanted a hassle free travel, so didn’t bother about the price. Once they sent the flight tickets, they haven’t selected the seats, when I questioned them, the person who was assisting me from Akbar travels by name Simran Kazi said you did not ask prior whether seats will be selected or not!! I told nor have they mentioned in package that it won’t be selected, for that she gives the call to her colleague Prateek who constantly yells at customers without even understanding the issue. It is not the matter of some extra amount I have to pay for the seats but if the same thing they do with hotels and all the transport once we reach a foreign country, that is the problem. You have to do a neat job though charging more is fine but doing half work is not fine. This Prateek says so many poor people like vendors go to Thailand, it is not a big destination, where I wish to go is my personal choice and I go where poor people go or where rich people go shouldn’t be your concern!! I told him to give in writing whatever he was talking because I don’t want to unnecessarily waste my time and energy arguing with these people but they don’t bother doing that. Just talk any rubbish you want with customers and if they ask anything shout at them itself. When I told Simran that flight tickets are less elsewhere she was like book there only. Everyday I kept asking if few extra sightseeing places could be added, she kept giving one excuse or the other saying, today is Sunday so she is on leave, one day she didn’t get back at all, no reply, the other day I’ll ask my team, finally she said one sightseeing place can be added and immediately within half an hour she gives a quotation of 5k more than the previous package saying flight tickets are dynamic and it has increased now…They are highly ill behaved, careless, unethical and unprofessional. Don’t expect them to take care of anything if something goes wrong. They will just shout at you and say they are right. I called up customer support and asked me to connect to some other agent from Bangalore, she gave a Bangalore office number which is a non existent phone number, then when I called her again, she says she doesn’t have any other phone number, so you have branches everywhere with

Very bad API, charge your money and will say booking not available

It’s very bad experience from your app and very very bad experience from your customer service first of all I have screenshot I made booking 12 th August you don’t care because you need 100 re schedule charges I know 13 August price very less arround 480. Aed then why should charge me 700 aed it’s not good service I booked first you taken your money and I didn’t get ticket after one hour your send me ticket on 13 th August instead 12 th August. When I called your customer service I don’t this pperson name he talking with me and suddenly he cut the phone and after he did not answer my phone until now , it’s not acceptable it’s not a customer service

Quality of service is measured by the way the support system responds during problematic times. Akbar travels has failed in that and I had to miss a serious family event due to that. When trying to reach in the wee hours for support none of their representatives were available. But the portal says as support 24/7 which is incorrect. Moreover service agent had given a false information as flight was cancelled without even checking properly. Overall it’s a very bad experience

Whatever fare is displayed on first page remains till last page whereas other application show lower rate on first page to attract customers and while issuing ticket fare gets increased by applying various charges and taxes

Best rates for last minute flights

Earlier the app used to work fine (older app). This new app with new UI is full of bugs. I can’t pay with UPI. It seems like an intern has developed it. I used to be the most Loyal customer of Akbar Travels because of its easy and simple UI flow and excellent CX. But sadly, now I truly believe that Akbar has lost its Spark, due to the difficulties that I have faced today to make a simple flight booking. I am never coming back to use this worthless app. 👎 EaseMyTrip seems to be far more stable and offers a better CX. FYI, tried at-least 10 times with 2 different flights. At last booked my flight using EaseMyTrip. #frustrated
