AquaChek Connect

I was looking for AquaChek Smart app as shown on website. This app doesn’t look like what was shown on website, no good for 4-in-1 test strips, drop down values for manual entry are too limited & colours on screen (iPhone 15 )don’t look much like colours on AwuaChek container. I have been using the 4-in-1 test strips for over 15 years and find them useful. However, this app is too limited. Manual data entry only allows ph to be 6.2, 6.8, 7.2, 7.8 & 8.4 Ideally , I aim to have my pool at 7.4 (7.2 to 7.8 is in the ok range - so why no options? Same with TA - it only accepts increments of 40

Rubbish app. Always crashes

The app camera option to scan the test strip worked once and never again. Can you please fix this. I’ve reinstalled many times and get same result.

Data entry for the 4-in-1 test strips is too granular. I can see my result is “between colours” however the entries are only possible in step increments. Thus any calculation of chemical additions will be erroneous. Please support the metric world!!!!

Would be great to have the app allow for litres and kilos (metric) for us Aussies. It's annoying to have to convert from imperial to metric each time. Otherwise a good app.

The app takes the reading about 1 in 5 attempts and support admits the app won’t read stops for this or that reason. When it works it’s pretty nice but it almost never does work. Trying to enter a manual reading causes immediate crash 100% of the time. One star at best!

Ever since they’ve updated this app it stopped working for me. I even went out and bought new strips thinking they were old. Please please fix this problem so I can go back to easily treating my spa without playing color match and guess game.

This is a great idea, but the app just doesn’t have the image recognition algorithm dialed for it to be of any use. I monkeyed with the app for days and the readings for the same water taken minutes apart had the chemical concentrations jumping around all over the place, while with my eyes using the color chart it was obvious the readings were stable. The auto capture is also very poor: the camera on two separate iPhones had trouble focusing and capturing the strip images roughly 50% of the time. This app is a waste, deleting it from my iPhones…

Still will not work sense old update. Will not capture photo.

Like everybody else who’s reviewed this in the last 6+ months, the auto capture used to work with my iPhone, but now it won’t work at all under any conditions. It seems to not be able to focus, as you move the phone closer to line up the boxes, the test pads become blurry, as if the app is unable to focus or select the correct lens.
