I live abroad and trying to sort out my annual tax and this app repeatedly spool and doesn’t open when using it with myGov digital id. You want me to pay taxes but you make it completely impossible. HMRC are way more advanced.

buggy app - cannot use at all

Overall a very useful app especially for recording deductions so they’re all ready at tax time! There are problems adding vehicle trips though. Adding a vehicle is fine but this version no longer gives the option of adding a trip - ATO website instructions only refer to an old version of the app.

I use it every year and it Very useful and clear about what I can claim and links to the updates of changes on what is claimable. Thanks

I attempted to sign in to my account and was told that I needed to ring a number with my TFN handy. Attempted to ring that number twice and was told by the automated teller the number is unable to be reached at this time. All round ridiculous.

Ah yes, fine me for not being able to collect my own money, wish the government could get better developers for these apps, I’m sure they could afford to!

Good app but hate taxes, and hate that if I don’t I get fined or sent to jail 👎

It’s okay. Makes life easier, but crashes and erases all data after every single update.

On the Summary for MyDeductions, can you separate donations from expenses? It would then be easier to see total amounts for donations?

So I guess unlike major retailers and other app developers that still are able to allow older OS users to have an update or use the last usable version of the app with that OS, you are leaving people like us who can’t or don’t want to go through wasting more money on upgrading our working phones just because it is a fashionable thing, my elderly working parents now also unable to access their app or upgrade their phone due to the small storage apace it came with. So at this point, will have to stop using phones with apps, back to old school computers and phones, webpages, and emails. Was nice while it lasted seeing how our tax money is spent more on developing other countries and not paying attention to our people and their needs.
