Easy to use but a little tricky trying to scan passport. Always saying “avoid lighting glare “ Had to use chip scan instead.

This APP made applying for ETA incredibly easy. The App is very simple , easy to navigate, and user friendly. The entire process took just a few minutes, with clear instructions guiding me every step of the way. I highly recommend it for a hassle free experience.

Extremely cumbersome. Having to repeat all information for 4 separate family members seems awfully inefficient. Photo application way too picky and $20 per applicant is basically robbery.

Difficult to scan passport, no option for uploading photos.

Travelling from Vancouver ,Canada to Sydney, Australia. We arrived at the airport 2.5 hours before our flight not realizing we needed a visa to enter the country. TOTAL PANIC!!!! So we used the app for the family at the airport and it was a GONG show. So here is some advice… - don’t be in a well lit area - you need to scan your passport…no glare anywhere. - you need to take a head shot photo…don’t have any glare. - you need to scan the chip on the passport. When doing this find the “Sweat spot” and then DONT MOVE IT. Watch the bar at the top of your phone…it will move along and tell you your complete with the scan. Bottom line is we were so flustered with it we actually missed our 16 hour flight. So we’re rescheduled 24 hours later. We came home and did it, not in a panic with solid background colours and better lighting (like very dim) and everything went smooth! It says results within 72 hours…it took less than 5 minutes to get the approval. Each person takes approx 3-4 minutes to complete. Lesson learned. NO GLARE.
