Absolutely rubbish app, there are more errors than working features absolutely impossible to actually use. Typical of Nedbank to make something so useless.

They will take your money and not communicate and not deliver. You're better off using one of the other more reputable apps.

After my 2 day ordeal to place my first order a week ago (see my other 1 star review for that adventure) the delivery took place today. My surname was not indicated on the Waybill, so it was returned. Also, I was not contacted either to prepare me for delivery or when it was returned. A week later and still nothing.

Trust me, your order won’t be delivered. They won’t deliver.

Thank you Avo for your quick turn around on my last two orders, the process was seamless and the Avo team kept me updated on order progress as I am not always home to collect. The best part was getting an additional 10% discount on top of the organic special price which I was not expecting but go because of Nedbank Greenbacks membership.

Searching for flights does not work at all.

By far the worst app I have ever used, OMG!!! I ordered twice on the app and my order was either never delivered or had missing items. To make it worse they take 5-7 working days to process YOUR MONEY BACK. It’s insane, how is it the apps like Uber eats, Mr delivery even checkers 360 get it right all the time?? There is no excuse for this level of unprofessionalism.

Consistently displaying incorrect prices, then cancelling orders, and taking 2 weeks to send your funds back to you. What they’re doing unlawful according to the Consumer Protection Act. Their support has been trained to constantly give you useless answers that don’t address the issue and they refuse to sell items at their listed price.

I am not happy with Avo’s service. So much so, I cancelled my order. I received a voucher which I purchased a gift for my sister with. I was advised delivery will take place on 18th of December. On the App, it showed that the Courier collected. And showed the same for three days and yet, ai didn’t receive the delivery. When querying on the App I was advised by an agent three times over two days that they are awaiting feedback, but nobody actually responded back to me. I eventually called twice, the first time I was advised that they will check and let me know, which didn’t happen. The next day I called again and I eventually found out that the delivery wasn’t collected after all, even though the App said it was. It is extremely frustrating. Once my money is refunded I will purchase a voucher which I hope I receive straight away. But I will not use Avo again.
