Cheque scanning has recently become really poor. The app doesn’t do much so it would be good if what it does was good. No comparison with the Pleo receipt scanner which is excellent.
BoS charge £8.50 per month for a business account, for doing literally nothing - closing the account due to the charges. Plenty others out there who offer free accounts for the same service.
The APP has greatly improved over time and has become very user friendly. There are still some improvements that could help and I shall be glad to discuss these if asked.
Because you cannot upload multiple payments via a csv file as a batch you are stuck to paying invoices one by one. But because the app is very easy to use then the negative point of the website is negated. Also the app can scan a cheque which is much more useful than visiting the bank. Reliability issues have improved a lot in the past few months.
Keeps on needing to be reloaded as it hangs. After a few times reloading, it thinks I’ve got it on too many machines. The won’t let me in. Then I call Bank which takes 30 mins to sort it. Happened three times at least already.

Over last few months have had several noisiest just trying to access app. Tap on app and keeps authenticating device. Deleted and reinstalled and this caused so many problems getting authorised to access app. Has just happened again. I have another account with RBS and never have had an issue. Also BOS app also always takes longer to authenticate device. Design fault. Think will now have to delete and reinstall again.
What a load of nonsense. Can’t take screenshots on my phone logged into and app with my secure password. If it was my choice I’d be moving banks
