When highlighting or selecting a word the dictionary opens up. And though the word may be defined by multiple sources all you see is part of a single sentence - that’s it. Nothing else works in the dictionary window. You cannot scroll down to see the other definition appearing at the bottom of the display. You cannot perform a search when no definition displays, though the dictionary offers to. And you cannot ‘Manage’ dictionaries as offered. None of these features work. Developer Response: Let me do this for you - please don’t apologize for this - instead fix it - please. Do you not use the app? Can you not see how Dictionary function is crippled? Your last update was 2 months ago! Surely something must be being improved - like Dictionaries

It used to be a letter n that you would tap to go back to main Library. I use the box 10.3 Go which I love, but the nook app tap option interferes with their menu. They took away the original nook device that I loved! This box was the closest I could get. Or maybe they can bring back the original white nook eink device? I am avoiding bezos like the plague! I do not use any other ereading apps.

I’m a long time kindle user. Someone suggested I try nook as an alternative. It’s really frustrating. Almost constant buffering that inhibits the ability to turn pages. I wish it was a viable alternative

App is great. Easy to use, great functionality. But you can’t buy the books from here even at the end of a downloaded free sample. I’d give it 5 stars if you could do that.

You have to be very careful if you have epub files from a source other than B&N! As long as the non-B&N ebooks can be seen under “My Files” in the app and opened IN the app, it works well. However, if you have the same files visible under “Files” in the iOS and attempt to get them to open by tapping the file name, the file will momentarily appear in the B&N app, then disappear from the app book list and also be DELETED from the list of ebooks under “Files”!! This is a very frustrating issue which needs correction.

I cringe at putting any more money in Jeff Bezos pockets through the Kindle, but it is so much better. Nook needs a highlighting system that works, scrolling, and functional search just to name a few. Please meet the standard so I don’t keep making Bezos richer.

I opened the app on my iPad this week to read and it is stuck on the “loading” screen. I a, unable to access or read my books. I did not find anything on the site that mentions a known issue. Very disappointed. Much as I hate Amazon, at least their app works.

B&N has been mucking with the app and it’s slow to load, books are inaccessible at times and login has been corrupted. Still want my books and Nook has been so convenient for those who travel to take their library with them.

Got a gift card and wanted to buy digital books but this app just kept buffering sadly

Might be okay if you simply reading one page at a time, but for reference books, it is painfully slow. I learned my lesson: for ebooks get in kindle or pdf for better performance
