Big Island Revealed Drive Tour

Wonderful descriptions of high points, history and culture of Hawaii extremely well integrated into the phone gps. Great material presented and great software!

We love having Andrew as our copilot for touring the islands. Lots of great stories, funny anecdotes, and great suggestions for things to see off the main path.

I bought the book first and used it to plan my trip. Then I got the app on island and we absolutely loved listening to this while driving around the Bog Island!!! Fantastic narration. Interesting stories. Really easy to use. The thing that made it better for us than some other driving tours is that it’s app for the WHOLE island. Some other ones are different tours for the island and I wasn’t sure which tour we should be on. for example if you are driving from Kona north to Waimea and then to Akaka Falls some apps sell different tours for each of those places with some overlap. It was confusing. With this Big Island Revealed app it figures out where we are from anywhere and starts talking at points along the route. Way better than the Shaka app for this. It also doesn’t use cellular while on your. GPS only. Perfect!! There are a couple of things I would LOVE in future editions if possible. An option to listen to Hawaiian music in between stops. Or more stories and facts about Hawai’i. I get some people would not enjoy constant sound or chatter but me and hubby would love that! Lots of times we had the radio on to get some Hawaiian music and then turn it off when this app came to point on the route. It would have been good just to have the app doing some music. Songs on a ukulele like somewhere over the rainbow or bohemian rhapsody would be awesome!!! Absolutely great app. The music part would also mean we would probably buy the app or pay for an upgrade EACH time we came to the island. Because I we’ve already heard all of the stories and stops on our most recent trip so I don’t know if it’s worth getting it next year too. I loved this app!!!!

This seems expensive but it’s worth it! We found ourselves referring to (narrator) “Andy in the back seat” many times, and treated him as a friend who conveniently stayed in the car each night.

Fun, interesting and accurate gps triggered narrative points of interest. (Got my nose out of your revealed guide book and enjoy the sites along the way) Helped us find interesting spots we would never have discovered on our own, even with your books. The browse feature is handy. Andy’s voice is easygoing and stories are fun, I recommend it to anyone coming to the Big Island. We love it.

The app was great, nicely timed to match your location. It was both interesting and entertaining. Easy and pleasant to listen to. A definite 2 thumbs up!

Ok first time in Hawaii on The Big Island. Husband and I are not wanting to break the bank paying your guides. I had already bought the Hawaii The Big Island Revealed and just made sense to use his app also. All I can say I wow!! Worth every penny we spent on the trip and the best money spent on the trip!!!

How fun that our tour guide comes to life every so often. We learned so much about the history of the island and visited places we never would have and enjoyed ourselves immensely.

We had a week long trip and without the app we were probably going end up repeating a beach day on our final day instead we found so many more things. This app is excellent for those not sure what they will do on the big island.
