BrainTap: Brain Fitness

I keep spending hours downloading braintap sessions for them to be automatically deleted so I have to go through the same time consuming process each time I use the App and headset. Support is absolutely useless!

I’m a clinician and practice mindfulness and meditation. Nothing this far has made me this relaxed! Excited to share this with my clients.

The BEST meditation app ever!

I have some cognitive issues but now that I use BrainTap every day nearly, my memory/recall has improved! I can (most all the time) have full conversations without forgetting main words or where I left off. I have improved so much in the past few months! I am impressed and highly recommend BrainTap to anyone experiencing this. Thank you for making this neurotechnology available!

Would be nice to have a way to check off what sessions I have done.

I love BrainTap! I believe it is one of the best purchases I have made for myself concerning my life becoming all that God has declared it to be. I particularly like the Christian perspective and the brain changing energy and programs to help me to change my mind about who I am and who God has created me to be. It has given me a new found hope! I wish more people could take advantage of the possibilities that BrainTap is helping me to believe and create

I signed up for a trial which I thought I cancelled. I use a credit card that lists all of my apps. Braintap is not one of them so I didn’t know I was still registered. I was charged with no warning and told that I had to give them 30 day prior to being charged. I don’t even remember when I used this app. I can understand a month charge but not the entire year for something I don’t even useso being 73 years old and on a fixed income upset my budget tremendously. So buyer beware. I would give them zero stars if I could.

UPDATE - The new content using Rife frequency combined with Delta is the best before bed practice. I’ve had the most rejuvenating sleep and wake up SO refreshed! I would love to see more Rife frequencies used especially for pain relief. The quality of the new content released every month makes this app more and more valuable. ORIGINAL REVIEW - I use my BrainTap primarily for sleep and stress management. When I find myself in negative patterns of thinking, I’ll use a session to refocus on positive thought patterns. This has also helped with staying focused on healthy habits like drinking water and exercise. I’d love to see more Christ centered content. More scripture based sessions to renew the mind would be very appreciated. Also, it would be nice to have an option to bring your own worship music into the app and have the lights coordinate for different outcomes - for drifting off to sleep or meditative and focus states.

They pretend to have a customer service line, but it is never answered. In fact, it rings forever with no voicemail. Very strange ring, probably just a recording. So, no customer service line, many other reviews say they don’t respond to email. That means the free trial is a farce, since you have no way to cancel it. Based on the three sessions you can access in free mode (the other three sessions are actually advertising), this is not worth $30 per month.

I absolutely love this app. And I love the upgrades they’ve given it in regards to being able to track sessions & amount of listening. Where this app. Could do better, is allow a person to create their own play list. Not all of us fall asleep right away, or sink into a deep meditative state. By allowing a person to make their own play lists a person has a chance to tailor their experience that is perfect for them. Also this app is incredibly expensive. And I have to wonder how some people especially people on a fixed income can afford it. I have clients that struggle with such “extravagance” even though they could so desperately use this product to help move them through phases in their mentation. I also have the headset for Braintap. One of the things I think could improve the experience is not having to have my phones volume turned up so high to activate the lights. I have very sensitive hearing and when attempting to fall asleep having the volume too high so I can experience the lights is very counterintuitive for relaxation. With all that being said I’m grateful for the app. What I’m able to achieve and how I feel. Thank you, but please look into these issues and please consider doing better on behalf of all persons that could benefit so much from a product like this.
