Catena: Bible & Commentaries

I really love this app, but there’s something wrong with the Bible plans. I mark a chapter completed, close the app, then open again and the chapter is shown as not completed. Please fix it

So unfassbar gut, extrem viele Kirchenväter Kommentare und das umsonst. Das einzige, was schön wäre, wäre, wenn die App für Mac auf funktionieren würde, oder wenigstens die Webseite. Leider geht aktuell nur die Mobile App.

I like it a lot, but I would appreciate more languages and being able to chose when the notifications come. But still, very good app.

This app is truly a blessing. I love the ability to choose how long I want to finish the new or Old Testament and it tells me everyday what I need to read to fulfill that. I have accountability everyday to make sure I did my readings. The explanations are also very helpful.

Catena is a great app for not only reading the Bible but delving into the meaning of each verse. When you click on each verse there are commentaries from our church fathers explaining the verse and the context. There are also video explanations from priests that are also very useful.
