Catena: Bible & Commentaries

I really love this app, but there’s something wrong with the Bible plans. I mark a chapter completed, close the app, then open again and the chapter is shown as not completed. Please fix it

This is my second favorite Bible app as an Orthodox Christian. Could you please add the EOB and ESV translations? One suggestion that would make it really good in my opinion is that if you could add an audio feature. I believe it will be of great help to people with visual impairments as well as people with ADD/ADHD. Thank you!

This app is truly a blessing. I love the ability to choose how long I want to finish the new or Old Testament and it tells me everyday what I need to read to fulfill that. I have accountability everyday to make sure I did my readings. The explanations are also very helpful.

Catena is a great app for not only reading the Bible but delving into the meaning of each verse. When you click on each verse there are commentaries from our church fathers explaining the verse and the context. There are also video explanations from priests that are also very useful.

Unimaginably amazing app. Extremely smooth and well-coded, bugs are extremely rare, it works even without internet access. The commentaries are always very informative and given the small team they’re marked as well as you could possibly imagine. This is really people doing God’s work
