Surcharges
This app is great for its functionality and the ability to have all charging networks into one app. However, why should I pay a surcharge just to activate a charger? It asks for $1.50 just to activate a free charger in my area. Also, I was charged $0.50 just to add funds because of “international transaction”. All this nickel and diming seems like trying to buy an airplane ticket. I rather use first party apps to avoid those surcharges.
Great help for noob
My first trip from Ohio to North Carolina, made the drive less stressful without worrying where to stop. Need to pay attention to the charger specs, stopped at a very slow one in West Virginia.
Pretty solid
This is my go-to multi-network charger hunting app. It doesn’t have a bunch of ad noise and it has a pretty good collection of networks, and a decent enough interface, to the point that I don’t have any major complaints. It mostly just works and doesn’t annoy me, and that’s a real plus.
Terrible app
App is really bad. Went to 3 places in Chicago using this app and nothing was there or you couldn’t even get into a “parking garage” where the chargers are supposed to be.
Charge
Seems to be very complicated. So I have been contacted by support to help me the next time I fill up with electricity.
Wish it was a little more intuitive
The app is free. Since using 5 yrs ago seems like it’s a little more difficult to find what I need including new charge locations.
Customer service does not answer or help me
I have called the customer service line for this app 3 separate times asking for my money back after the app incorrectly charged me for the first hour of charging when they offered a promotion of the first hour being free. Each time I called, the person I spoke to filled out a help “ticket” and then nothing ever happened after that. I’m still waiting for them to follow through. I don’t know why my issue keeps getting ignored.
ChargeHub flub
Many flaws yet to be worked out including frequent inability to scroll through screens to properly enter and update data.
