The long-awaited new version crashes while editing, crashes while playing. It contains not only all old problems, but also the new UI is way less convenient for me. I would appreciate if you kept the app simple and reliable. Waiting for bug fixes!

The app has rocked before, but now it's just the ultimate quick song-sketching tool. Highly recommended for everyone, especially for singers and songwriters. Also great for practice.

This is a powerful and fun song creator. My gnarled fingers can’t play a keyboard, and the interface here lets me choose the chord lot, type, duration etc all from the screen / menus. This is surprisingly wonderful for creating synthwave, which is a feature I didn’t expect when I bought it. The main benefit to me is that I can very easily take a written chord progression and translate it to sound. All the rest is an excellent bonus.

Chordbot is fantastic. I can not stress that enough. If you write songs it’s one of the best apps to have. It would be even better if it had a few little tweaks like the ability to enter chords via a text prompt instead of having to push multiple buttons. I understand the use of hearing chords and seeing the others .. but if you already have chords ideas and just want to experiment with different timings or sound combinations it would be much easier to be able to type something like slashes for bars and the txt name of the chord for example “ Em/// D// G/“ It would also be great if you could load custom sound fonts or modify strumming patterns. Add in a few more options for the random chord progression generator Then this would be beyond perfect. Not sure if the developers read reviews but I hope this gets through to them in time for the next update 😊

Sadly, Chordbot doesn’t show up as a MIDI device in Audiobus. This instrument would really shine if it were able to “play” other sound-generating devices.

I have used this app for many years. Very inspiring indeed. Would love a Mac version?

The new interface is harder to see and unintuitive. A good example of how to wreck a perfectly decent app.
