Chrome River

Don’t like the app. Very clunky and slow. And the main reason I downloaded it was so that I could claim my travel mileage expense. Problem is, the app doesn’t allow you to select the route on a map. However, the website on the computer does. So clearly whoever developed this app did not put much effort in to it.

This app is the most frustrating I’ve ever had the misfortune to use in over 30 years of booking expenses. I actually don’t have the words to describe how bad this is. It wastes hours of productive time from terrible and confusing workflows, to clumsy persistence settings and dis functional search. As an example, deleting a receipt is impossible once you’ve taken a picture of it. It just speaks to the fact that no one on the product of dev team have actually ever tested this by trying to book a real life expense. Incredible!

Terrible user interface. Hit and miss with reciept records, doesn’t work off line and constantly crashes. Awful, awful, awful. I loathe doing my expenses with this time consuming app.

Just downloaded app and it hasn’t opened properly. Add email entered code and then nothing but grey screen!

Fails to open 75% of the time. Was using freadom at last work which 100% better than this; it feels like I have gone back 20 years. Come on chrome river get a new version that works

Unfortunately using Chrime Riber is like stepping back in time 10 years in terms of ease of use and clean UI design. For a company providing this tool too so many large companies perhaps it’s just complacency preventing them developing something that’s easy to use by 2022 standards.

Tried to add bank account details but can’t select GBP even though it shows on drop donn menu.

No app that’s supposed to be used daily or weekly should implement 2FA in this way. It’s almost unusable this way.

Can’t attach images or PDF’s to basic expense reports and line items. Rubbish app. Probably better suited for approvals.

It’s quite clunky and feels like software from the Windows XP era but can get the job done. Really, really needs an offline/sync capability. This would make use on the go so much easier. At the moment unless you have a good internet connection you cannot use it. Would be so much better and smoother if you could work on it offline and then synchronise when possible.
