Clorox Pool

This is a tool to sell chemicals. The results on the app have become wildly different from reality. Be careful if you use this app as you will end up swimming in chemicals and needing to refill your pool every three months.

So much for “pool AND spa”. Do not buy these test strips and expect to use this app if you have a hot tub. My hot tub is 8x8 and like 550 gallons or so. The app minimum is like 1,000 gallons.

It’s kind of frustrating to buy their products in store. That all have the label pools and spas attached to them. Recommend downloading the app to help you read the products and suggest maintenance. And it doesn’t even work.

Would be nice if you could set up a profile for a hot tub, not just a pool. App is useless for hot tub owners.

I have been using this app for two pool seasons now. I find it helpful as I am not a pool person, but I am very familiar with water parameters as I keep many fish tanks. That said, I wish it had a feature to input all the Clorox pool products I have in my inventory and help solve the problem with what I have. I agree with some of the other reviewers - it feels like they are trying to sell you a new product for a new problem, but knowing a lot about water parameters because of fishkeeping and knowing how costly it is to keep it clear in a 75gal or 125gal, it makes sense on the scale of 1700gal or more. It keeps pushing the 3-in-1 clarifier, but it's out of stock everywhere, making me believe it's not in production anymore. I have the clarifier plus algaecide product. It would be nice if the app could say use X amount of one with X of the other from my stock. Anyway, I like the app for its ease of use but would love more info/education on problem-solving and the different uses of all their pool products. Such as the Crazy Carifier vs the Super Water Clarifier, knowledge is power and this app can be so much more. I am already a Clorox Pool customer and wont use anything else but its hard cause I can't walk into my ocal pool store and talk to someone About Clorox Pool because they don’t sell it there so it would be nice to rely on the app for that.

The strip scanning function automatically selects the wrong back camera to use. There’s no way to switch cameras, and the one selected by the app won’t focus close up for the strip to fit in the “window”

keeps logging me out. don't even need a login. read the strip. stop. that's all

I have owned a 4 seat 200 gallon hot tub for years. My wife just bought a small 7x4 439 gallon portable pool from Amazon. So I picked the Clorox test strips up and surprise, the app is only good for 1000 gallon and larger pools.

It rarely ever scans the first time though the picture is clear and in the box. On top of that it will take forever to tell you it didn’t scan so you are out of the window for scanning it and now have to use another. Just compare the bottle or get the dye test kits.

I was looking to use this to help read pool strips. Wants permission to send notifications (why?), does not work unless you set up an account with lots of personal information, then did not function for me.
