Filtrete Smart

I’m a smart air filter user for the last 4-years since Covid hit. The only complaint is the Bluetooth quits working after about 90 days. So now that they have been out if stock I’m going back to the regular filters.

I have been waiting almost a year to write this review hoping it was just my bad luck. Unfortunately, every replacement filter I’ve purchased after initially connecting to this app, never connects to it again. Save your money and buy just a normal filter.

Home (21f) warms much quicker after filter change. Now 70f.

I use Filtrete 2200 16 X 25 and 14 X 25 filters and buy them a half a dozen at a time. This app makes it easy for me to replace them at the time interval I select. I never forget to replace my filters as a result, and keep my heating system clean.

This is the third time that i have lost information on the app when it gets updated. It shows that i’m still logged in. Why does this keep happening?

These filters never stay connected. Waste of money.

Stupid app it says add filter and to scan barcode but when you get to the part where you scan, it doesnt read the barcode. TERRIBLY DESIGNED!

I bought smart filters by accident. I installed the app out of curiosity. I think the whole concept is a little over the top.

Easy to install it does a wonderful job.

The “smart” filter costs a little bit more than the standard Filtrete filter but I have enough daily/ weekly chores that it is nice to have something that just lets you know to change it. I live in Alaska and I have enough daily things I take care of so it’s nice to have something easy in the list of stuff being a homeowner. 5 stars
