We believe that Christians, no matter where they are from, should be able to attend Mass, both in person or digitally when needed. Our mission became a reality when the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) asked Michael McManus a simple question.
“How can we present the Catholic Church on television?”
In March of 1998, a tradition was born when Bishop John Sherlock, the first Chair of the National Catholic Broadcasting Council (NCBC), celebrated Mass at St, Michael’s Cathedral and broadcasted it across Canada.
Our purpose is clear...
Pope Francis said that the Mass is the very mystery at the centre of our salvation. The National Catholic Broadcasting Council has been connecting the Catholic faithful together through the mystery that is the Daily TV Mass since 1988.
With the assistance of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB) and the leadership of the late Bishop John Sherlock, Michael McManus, our founding Executive Director, worked with a team of people to bring the Mass to TV each day reaching Catholics across Canada.
With the invention of the internet the reach of the Daily TV Mass is now worldwide and our commitment remains to build the community of the faithful by keeping them connected. The Daily TV Mass keeps tens of thousands of faithful Catholics connected with our faith and community.

Easy to use and lovely daily mass! Daily lent messages!
Omg omg omg I cannot recommend this app enough I love it! I like the daily masses and I love listening to the daily lent messages they really hit home. This app also includes the rosary and a lot of other prayers! You are able to request prayers as well. Plus it’s free especially right now when times are rough. Thank you so much for this app. ❤️🙏🏼

Daily Mass
Thank you very much for the Daily TV Mass. The celebrants are very well prepared, very clear with their homily. I admire their dedication . The singers and the readers are very good. I also like the background music. The prayer for spiritual communion , both written and oral benefit both those of hard hearing and poor eyesight . Praise the Lotd!
How Grateful I am
During the pandemic, it was heartbreaking to see our churches closed. We were locked out of Our Father’s home. It seemed like forever! Having the Daily TV Mass was a consolation for those of us who attended daily mass. For years, I didn’t have a car while visiting family in Arizona, but I did have the Daily TV Mass. This past year, as I have been dealing with anxiety and gave up driving to our church, I am so grateful to have the opportunity to start my day with the Daily TV Mass. I am especially grateful for the other resources on the app: Advent and Lenten Reflections. I feel like I know the priests, lectures and cantors. I thank the Lord for all of you, Gratefully, Louise Frangella
Beautiful Service
Since Covid I started to watch your program for mass,rosary, and spiritual meditation. I continued to watch because I’m older and still concerned with Covid. I did get Covid which encourages me to use your service. Thanks so much for sharing with us a spiritual journey together. God Bless.
