Driver: Driving & Dash Cam App

Vraiment rien à faire, l’appli est uniquement en chinois, pas d’option de changement de langue. Même pas en anglais quoi, alors c’est parti pour de la traduction. Sinon, c’est propre, sobre et complet.

Caméra + Plan = Parfait

As a premium user and an uber driver, this app is a god send. I use my iPad as my main navigation Velcro’d to my dash over my 2019 Camry screen I don’t need, and have this hanging from my review mirror. I noticed immediately that I love the telemetry and instant access I get to the trips, not having to transfer from an actual cam. I also appreciate the extremely clear audio I get to have vs dedicated dash cams. However my beef with it is : 1. I wish I could manually control the resolution it records in including the refresh rate. The app team could utilize the on device storage (1TB on my iPhone 16 pro max) for full size footage files 4K recording at 60/120fps or 1080p at 120fps or higher…. and anything syncing to the cloud could be downsized, to help their end out of course which only is offered for HD atm. 2. Loop recording options! Almost all dash cams on the market offer loop recording. It would enable my phone to keep recording in its highest resolution possible and not eat up space. 3. I wish it could record in the background as well. As an uber driver I already notify through the uber app I am recording my ride for my safety, I don’t see why I couldn’t turn off the screen all together and let it record in the background. iOS restriction? Or better yet allow the use of other apps in the front and not stop the recording. 4. An advanced settings feature section for the more tech savvy! Here you could throw in a LABS section for features undergoing testing or whatnot, or just offer more options for customization. That’s about it! I used to have a VANTRUE N4 Pro 3 channel camera, however the summer heat got to it, I would love to see this app continue to improve as it’s become a huge help for me when I’m driving for Uber. This app is great, but it doesn’t work well with CarPlay when recording. It either jumps around sources or doesn’t play audio at all, like SirusXM. I hope it’s an easy fix.

On this update my dashcam is not working when im drivind my dashcam turn into a speedometer instead is there a way to fix this or should i cancel my subscription?

I love almost everything about this app but I noticed two distinct problems. When I’m going about 65 mph, the speedometer jumps up to about 85 for a second randomly. And on the website when you’re viewing the different events that occurred during your drive. The large table composed of things like hard acceleration, stop signs seen, and stop lights seen, etc. The table itself is very hard to move around on to view all of the information present. When you try to move horizontally the table always sends/ pushes you back somewhere else. Other than that, I really like this app.

As much as I would love to love this app it’s absolutely worthless. Focusing on everything but the road makes this app useless.

Won’t allow use without full time permission to location and motion, even when you’re asleep in bed.

Videos do not play back after 9-10 minutes so if anything happens after that length of recording, it will not playback! Worthless App!
