Driver: Driving & Dash Cam App

Well the camera works fine but that is the only thing that happens when I open the app. I have no idea at all where I would find data or features… all it does is turn on the camera.

Can’t even view your dashcams online wants you to open to app on your phone so it can sync. And it’s been “syncing” all night and got no where. Pay a premium too. Don’t bother

App is great,missing some of the features like Bluetooth or WiFi connections to your car automatically.

The app works well when it actually works, but when it comes down to actually needing the video for one of your trips, it doesn’t actually want to playback or even show there is a video there. So when you need it it doesn’t work.

I like the concept. My phone is always in the car and connected for Apple Car Play so why not use it as my dashcam also. First issue was major overheating and subsequent battery drainage. This happened on a 30 minute journey on a 15 degrees Celsius day in Scotland and with the a/c on as cold as it could be. Hardly a scorching day. After unplugging,battery went from 70% to 10% over a couple of hours. There is an offer of a free cooling phone mount but only for postage within USA. Next,the app stopped recording randomly every 5-15 minutes. I can’t find anywhere in the settings to address this. Every time it stopped I had to reach forward and hit the record button again. Not ideal and it makes the app quite likely to cause an accident rather than record one. When using all the features such as sound,two way camera, collision alert etc I found that the app was draining my battery faster than the car could charge it. This probably contributed to overheating. However even when I turned everything off apart from the front facing camera,it still slowly drained the battery while on charge. When using the sound record feature, the quality of my music sound through Apple Car Play was greatly reduced. Lastly,and more a feature of the phone camera than the app,when driving in rain the camera is all cross eyed and focuses on the raindrops and the wipers rather than the road ahead. I wanted to like this app but there are too many flaws for me. I’ll stick with the dedicated dash cam for now. Thankfully the premium app comes with a 7 day free trial so no harm done. Hopefully the developers can address some of the issues because this could be a great app.

the app records with no camera footage when the app is not being used! which could be invasion of privacy. it could be recording phone calls, conversations etc.

I wouldn’t give it too rate due to doesn’t work when app is closed, it still records your trip but not video it, also noticed it’s recording a loads of false trips, checked a few times and suppose to all other the place by my house, apparently gone through it and a loads of other houses lol,, but other than that it’s ok for small trips but app always needs to be open, also this app provide navigation

Not the best it’s very basics and when it rains the camera only focuses on the windshield due to the wiper blades so no useful footage Phone used Apple iPhone 13 Max Pro

After trying 7 different dash cam apps this is my favourite. It seems the most reliable and has some features I really like. I have found it runs really well in the background with other apps such as podcasts and music running. I would give it 5 stars if it had the option to choose between wide and ultra wide camera. Currently it is locked to wide. For further UI polish it would be nice if we could clear the onboarding message on the Home Screen.

I have enjoyed using this for a few weeks. Pretty good except that the video is a bit of a post box slot, and worse if you use the rear view too. Recently it has started crashing within 5s of opening. Contacted the developer and they were very helpful. Working again now.
