Ik vind het een geweldige app! Nog nooit zoveel genoten van het Bijbellezen. Het is erg fijn om niet alleen te lezen, maar tegelijk ook de tekst te horen. Ik neig vaak naar studie van de tekst en stilstaan bij wat er staat, dit is voor mij erg fijn omdat je het gewoon "leest en luistert". Ideaal in bed of in de auto/fiets!

I am Dutch evangelist and I preach al lot in English. I read in Dutch and therefor not always have time to study also in English. So when I lay down I dwell in the spoken Word of God in English and it helps me a lot! Thanx!

Dwell is the perfect name for this app. For it helps me dwell on the Word of the Lord.

Because I love listening to audiobooks I started looking for an English audio Bible (I’m Dutch). I’m very happy with this app, listening to the Bible works better for me than just reading. I love that there’s background music with it! Unfortunately I can’t regulate the volume of the voice and the music anymore, that’s the only thing I’m not happy about. I totally recommand this app it is so relaxing, refreshing and so peacefull to be able to listen to the Bible where ever you are/go. Thank you Dwell team!

This is just amazing!! I can listen to the scripties anywhere I want, when I want. It’s very nice to listen to because the voice is really nice and there is music on the background. It’s just awesome! I love it!!

I spiritually cultivate everyday and this app was pivotal in helping me develop this habit over time, both in the morning and evening, as part of my routine. It perfectly supplements Bible reading and prayer, and I’m grateful to have such a thoughtful app. However, more often than I’d like I’m exposed to “concepts” and doctrines regarding Trinity which are not specifically mentioned in the Bible. In the Bible it does not say names of “Father, Son and Holy Spirit” rather name of. There is only one name under which we are to be saved, that is the name of Jesus. I do not pray to “the father, son and Holy Spirit” but Jesus Christ, neither do the disciples baptize in the name of the father son and Holy Spirit, rather in Jesus Christ’s name as cited in Acts through Jesus baptizing, his disciplines baptizing, including recordings of Peter and John. Regardless, I just prefer if the app could be noble enough as to not use the general belief in Trinity just because many of the developers believe in this or it’s common to many Christians to believe— the Bible (words of God) did not see a need to say “trinity” and neither do I. there is also the chance that when saying in the name of Father Son and Holy Spirit, the disciples at the time already know the name of these three. Though in different times and different planes they are not three different persons; Anyway that’s only my faith so I won’t expand upon that. In essence, as a non-denominational Christian I’d prefer not to have to brace myself for brainwashing everytime— to be severe. Because not everyone believes in Trinity. Just as people would prefer not to have Catholic teachings and saints inserted into their daily listening, I’d greatly appreciate if phrasings and subjective beliefs that are not specifically recorded or can be referenced from the Bible be considered the “status quo”. A writer myself, I never write reviews. however, today hearing the sharing state: generally it’s widely known that Trinitarianism” or something along those lines really offended me. However, I’m not writing a review to denigrate but in the hopes that devs can really stay more aligned directly with the words of God in the hearings and reflections, which is why I fell in love with the app in the first place. Thank you.

I have had the regular Bible app for years but this took it to another level of listening and diving deeper!
