Brilliant application. So easy to and convenient to have

I love this app, simple, fast, easy to use. But I just updated it and now it won't open without immediately crashing. Please fix asap!

It’s a Bible

I’ve really loved the ESV app and its simplicity. I got it because of the narration from Jackie Hill Perry! One problem I’m noticing lately: all the Library features are suddenly missing. I can’t see the commentaries, study bibles, etc. Not sure if this is a bug or a hidden feature now. Can we fix this, please?

I have used this app for years and it keeps getting better. Initially, I didn’t like the subscription, but it is so comprehensive, it’s completely worth it. You get all of Crossway’s resources, which I use regularly. Being able to click on a reference in the study notes and get taken straight there is great and saves a ton of time compared to constantly flipping back and forth in my bible. One issue I’ve noticed: when I am using the study bible, if I’m using it in the full page view (by pulling it up to the top of the screen) and I click on a reference, when I pull the study notes down to read the reference in the Bible text, the study section reverts back to the beginning, which can be frustrating when you’re 3/4 down the page and have to go and find your spot again. In the half-page view, though, there are no issues.

The “read at your own pace” feature is incredibly glitchy and constantly loses my spot and is very frustrating. I love all of the plans and features- this app really is great- but would be spectacular if the Bible Plan didn’t constantly reset. I have a subscription and it would be worth it to continue if this feature were fixed.

I love this app. I love being able to wake up in the mornings and listen to the scriptures. So thankful that so many great people have chosen to lend their voice and musical talents to give such a pleasant experience to listening to God’s Word. BUT… A 100% increase in the subscription?! To go from $25 to $50 a year seems a little exorbitant. So much so that I’m afraid you have priced it out of the reach of many who now will see such an expensive subscription and not get to enjoy the features that come with it. I’m curious Crossway feels they need to do that when the Bible App is free, relying on donations, and they have so much more content. Do better Crossway

Great app. Subscribe to the additional resources. The ESV expository commentary is worth it. I used to exclusively use the study bible but now primarily rely on the expository commentary at my finger tips. Most of the other resources are just okay. The next best would probably be the preaching resource bible but they could delete the others and it wouldn’t change the value for me. Only recommendations for the developer: make it to where I can highlight parts of a verse and not just the whole thing ( I know - nitpicky) as well as make it to where when I have the commentary pulled up in half screen it doesn’t readjust to the top of the commentary when I scroll thru the Bible. Love the audio and the music background. Has replaced my dwell app. What a gem!!
