Exodus 90 - Live Different

The program itself is great (I have used it for the past several years), and I think the variety (St. Michael’s Lent, Advent, Exodus 90, etc.), and the price is affordable. The app itself is improved (one specific point) because there’s an option to listen to the daily reflection as opposed to reading it on your phone (which I found to lead towards distraction).

beware that if you sign up they will text you from different numbers perpetually multiple times per week and no matter what you do to report junk and delete they will just text you again with spam advertisement from a new number. This is the opposite of Christ's energy

I signed up to use Exodus in 2019 with a small group of men. We have gone through everything that Exodus has offered our core group of four men have done all of the Exodus 90 day 91 exercises. The exercises and their content is some of the best I have ever read. Once or twice we took a month off and found that something was missing in our life. After returning to Exodus 90, we realized this is not just something you do for a while, this app and all of its reflections, wisdom, and knowledge that they share is so valuable! we will be doing Exodus for the rest of our lives! I myself am 67 years old, I love the Lord. I love reading scripture I love reading, spiritual books. we find that doing Exodus 90 is just as important as doing morning and evening prayer! This Exodus program is like having a spiritual mentor at my fingertips; something that I desperately needed. It has helped shape me spiritually in a positive way these past couple of years. I am eternally grateful! Thank You- Joe

The Exodus App is a really useful tool, but of course what matters most is the program, fraternity, and ultimately the Spirit’s work through those means. Having said that, the Exodus team has done great work to continue to evolve the app over the last couple of years (2023-2024), with features like being able to send pictures (e.g. memes) through the in-app chat function, being able to phone fraternity members (press and hold their name to display / call their cell number), as well as a host of great content. One really helpful App enhancement is that you can now access the weekly videos through YouTube, so that your progress through the video will be saved to your YouTube history so you can easily resume the video later.

I am a new user of the app starting in August. In just 45 days it has helped me in very significant ways, I dare say life changing ways. The content in the app is world class Catholic Christian formation. The Disciplines tracking icons are perfect for building new holy habits. The Fraternity features have united my group of like minded men who live not only in several different states but in several European countries. As they claim to do, Exodus leads men to Uncommon Freedom. Keep up the great work Exodus!!

This app is like having a spiritual director, in the sense that it’s driving you in a direction towards God our Heavenly Father. Following the programs, utilizing the formation packs, and building a fraternity of men who are on similar journey as myself really seems to give me all the things I’d think would have if you had an actual spiritual director and then some. Making asceticism normal strengthens us spiritually, mentally, and physically.

Super app to help Christian men grow in wisdom and understanding through the pillars of prayer, asceticism, and fraternity. Highly recommended for any man seeking to growth his faith or as antidote to the problems and anxieties so prevalent in today’s overly secularized world.

I’ve been following along Exodus since 2020. I’ve always loved the mission and it’s been a great help in growing in prayer, virtue and detachment distractions. That said, over the past 1.5 years, there has really been an injection of fresh life into the contents and the app. The past Exodus had new readings and reflections and a great series on prayer. St. Michael’s Lent is focusing on healing and rest. I really like the direction and vision of the team and looking forward to the next seasons as they now always seem to feature updated and fresh content.

The team at Exodus 90 needs to bring the book back or at least an updated version of it.
