Exodus 90 - Live Different

I am 61 years old and this app with its disciplines has transformed my life

The CEO of Exodus had paid himself $190,000 last year, $150,000 the year before and $100,000 the year before that. This is a lot of money and huge pay rises for non profit. The Exodus 90 concept is great. But the app and website are hugely commercialised and they smell of sales and marketing instead of evangelisation and encouraging men in their faith. They could easily make the app free and donation based. The app cost excludes men who want to grow in their faith. The way they are doing this feels wrong - selling Catholicism. You really don’t need an app or website to do Exodus 90. And they should be asking you for money to do it.

Easy to navigate

Outstanding content which I have found transformative. I can’t recommend this enough for Catholics looking to deepen their faith and move closer to living our God’s will through asceticism, prayer and fraternity.

Great programme. I had trouble getting a fraternity together as I started at the last moment. I feel it has greatly benefited me and those around me. I will do exodus again in future with a fraternity to gain the most benefit. Also very good value.

Exodus 90 for me is librating me from depending on my own wisdom (which is foolishness) and my own strength (which is weakness) to depend on God who’s Wisdom and Strength per excellence. Exodus 90 has implicitly taught me that while I’m in God and with God I can do all things, I can be what I want to be and I can have whatever I want to have (please this is personal to me even if it doesn’t apply to you). What it can do for you can be totally different but if you try it, which I encourage you to do, it’ll surely do something really good for you (freedom in one form or another).

Excellent selection of daily readings and reflections! Must be done as a group

This is a wonderful pilgrimage out into the desert in search of the Heart of the Father. Yahweh. Abba Father you are the potter we are the clay the world of your hands.

As a not-Catholic Christian, I have found this app to be really useful in helping me and my friends to go deeper in our walk with Christ and to also help us move away from sinful and time wasting behaviour. Really nicely laid out interface too.

The programme is good in that it challenges personal discipline. It’s most important goal in my opinion is to establish on going prayer life that should continue after the 90 days. However the Asceticism should be challenging lifestyles around the idolatry of the commodity form and the status of material goods such as getting the latest technology in mobile phones etc. Or the status of the vehicles we drive. These are modern forms of idolatry that could be explored far more in meditation on the 10 plagues, which re a challenge to the Egyptian Gods.
