Expectful: Wellness for Moms

Enjoyed short daily meditations of 5-10 minutes. After 40 weeks daily meditations do not pop-up automatically, yet are still to be located. Sometimes I tried calculating back to metric (baby weight/length). App even includes courses, yet chapters did not play automatically and I had to press start manually. Really thankful I found this app and subscribed as soon as I could.

This app is one of a kind. It is the one and only app I found that holds into account non- sponteneous pregnancies and everything involved. Throughout my journey, I found understanding here and above all peace of mind to help me to have faith in my body and to go along on this rollercoaster ride. It has helped me so much, both in good and bad days. Eventually I could easily introduce myself to helpful delivery techniques. And I was able to start exercizing again via the app, despite my postpartum injuries. The monthly rate is not cheap but when you know the app: it gives you good value for money. After 1 year, I still use it to sleep well. I sometimes think of quitting but I kinda am smitten with my favorite meditations 😅. I would like to thank the Expectful staff for keeping an open-mind about everything that has to do and you could experience as a woman around the miracle of getting pregnant, whatever the path you are following.

All meditations are super usefull to navigate true the wonderfull and also hard times you go through during pregnancy, postpartum and even motherhood. A long with meditations you can do workouts, book or watch information videos, Q&A with professionals or read articles. I really enjoy everthing Expectful offer, i would defenately recommend this app.

Love this app; as it gave me the needed support with the meditations, yoga, breath work sessions through my pregnancy. A really good one, and start as soon as possible. This was recommended by a friend, which I am very thankful for.

I used this app mainly in my third trimester to prepare for my birth (would have used it the whole pregnancy if I had discovered it sooner!). The meditations were amazing, they helped me to connect with my baby and to build confidence in my body. The visualizations and affirmations were powerful. I am convinced the daily meditations contributed to my very positive birthing experience of my second baby. During my postpartum period, I followed the ‘40 days’ postpartum track, one for each day. This helped me get through this intensely emotional period and I felt so supported! Thank you for creating this wonderful app, I am recommending this to all my friends.

The place of the sleep meditation was way too fast, leaving me even more awake and stressed than before the meditation. You’re better of using a free sleep meditation on YouTube. Can’t believe i paid 10 dollars for this.

I loved this app and all the content throughout my pregnancy. I really enjoyed the daily meditations curated for each week in my pregnancy. Also used the meditations to help me sleep during pregnancy insomnia. I’m even loving all the content and continuing to use the app postpartum.

The Expectful app is beyond helpful especially for a fertility & loss journey. My one huge wish as I’ve been using the app for more than a year is that they update content more often. Especially with the pricing change from an affordable annual fee to a higher monthly rate of $8.99 per month. If you are charging more I would expect a more robust experience with new updated content and features. For example Peloton is around $14 per month & the app offers a robust variety of meditations, spin, yoga, walking, pilates… etc. While constantly adding new content daily. That’s only $6 per month more than Expectful. Therefore I expect more updates & content if the price is also going up.

This app got me through a miscarriage, pregnancy and postpartum. I still listen to these meditations during my new motherhood stages. Now, the app won’t even open at all. Please let us know if you’ve shut down or if you’re working on fixing it.

So disappointed with this app. I paid for the full experience over a week ago but it’s been unusable. Not a single meditation or class loads. Such a waste of time. I had high hopes as the content seems to be good.
