Find a Grave

Good idea for an app and for those searching for family links. In practical terms both this app and the website fall a bit short on functionality - for example no spell suggestions or autocorrect for transcriptions (app) and all default to American date (month before day). The website is a little bit more user friendly but stretches photos horribly so it makes transcription difficult

A great app for anyone interested in family history or genealogy.

-Cannot send messages to other contributors via the app. Have to get on vía a web browser.

Makes no sense it's hard to edit and the lag out is hard to manage. But its free, that is why I don't use it much. If you make a mistake you can't go back to edit. I had to email them. I accidentally put the wrong county in.

Find a Grave is a great site to remember people who came before us. I personally think Find a Grave is a ton better than “BillionGraves” because BillionGraves’ website is really janky and it is not as easy to search you ancestors, but mostly you have to pay money to even look at the pictures. Find a Grave however has an easy to use website and app and it is absolutely free.

I'm not able to reach out to managers to transfer. Site says To request a transfer we ask that you contact the manager of the memorial. Go to the memorial in question, click on 'Suggest Edits' and scroll down to the 'Contact Manager' button. Select it and type your message to the memorial manager. But the contact manager button isn't there. Please help.
