Food Lion To Go

Trying to signup for the app. I will not send me a text code to verify my phone number. Tried multiple times. It will not call my phone either with a code.

I have used the app to shop for a long time. As a disabled person, it has truly helped me. I am no longer getting text message updates about substitutions or order status. I have called Food Lion and Instacart with no solution. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app but that did not help. The app is currently prompting me to sign in repeatedly. Which is doable but it is frustrating. I would like to suggest a “save for later” option in case your finances do not allow you to purchase an item now. I also would like to suggest a “favorite” option, so you can easily reference items. Having “buy it again” is helpful. However, if you have purchased something that you do not like there is no way to edit “buy it again”. So I have accidentally purchased items again that I didn’t like.

This app is horrible and so frustrating when you have items in cart but it never lets you check out. Will send me to web to sign in which I am signed in but won’t transfer back to app. I am over this app which stinks because picking up an order would be so much more convenient.

The performance of the app needs improvement due to numerous. I constantly have to relogin. If you leave the app to go to another app- a lot of times when you come back it freezes and restarts you at the home page. Anytime I try to update which car I am driving to pick up my order it hardly lets me slide over to the suv selection. Half the time in the middle of trying to update this it will make me relogin. By the time I get to food lion I have log in again and then the app freezes. So many bugs it drives me crazy!

I went to the app to order groceries for delivery. It kept redirecting me back to the home page and everytime I would hit check out, it would tell me that delivery was available in my area and I could click on the link for food lion.com or use the app…which I already have. I was never able to check out. I deleted the app several times and it continued to happen.

I’ve been using the app for a couple of years. Groceries ordered online and picked up after work was super convenient. Unfortunately, between last week and today I can no longer easily find simple items in the app. I tried to order eggs and was given 5 pages of waffles, potatoes, etc and not the box of 18 eggs I usually get. What was a great convenience has become a frustrating experience. I can no longer access previous purchases on the app. Please fix this.

I spent the last hour adding items to the cart. I try to check out but it is just a loop. I can’t even move to the page where I would enter payment. Very disappointed.

This is probably one of the worst apps that I’ve come across for a large chain business. Placing an order has its struggles, but adding items to an already placed order is ridiculously inconvenient. I’m a big fan of our local food lion and really appreciate the option to do a grocery pickup, but the quality of this app almost makes running into the store a more convenient option. Hoping some big changes are made in the near future.

This app is very slow and I know it’s not my wifi because everything else works just fine except for this app. Also whenever I choose my replacement items it takes so long because everytime I swipe across the screen to choose my items it won’t even move!! It also freezes a lot too. Definitely needs improvement with bug fixes.

Food Lion app is very annoying because you have to log in every time you use it even on same device. Walmart is way easier.
