iPad app but only works in portrait?
they put the efffort to make an iPad app but they just made a large iPhone app – uninstalled since it’s unusable for me

POOR design no reflection on Reporters
Yet again the programmers at France 24 have managed to screw this app up. It displays only in iphone portrait mode on… an iPAD… the advertising has improved HONESTY by actually allowing the top right bar X to be selected WITHOUT LAUNCHING Browser to the advertiser… a good start. But this app is HORRID to use. It REPEATEDLY asked for near FULL tracking to be allowed by user otherwise IT CONSTANTLY ASKS FOR CONSENT.
Notifications inutiles
À quoi ça sert de cliquer sur une notification, si la page en question ne s'ouvre pas ?! Perte de temps. Nul!
No Landscape Mode
One of more reliable news apps I “did” use but, alas… no more landscape mode for my iPad. Au Revoir mon Ami!
Format iPad ne fonctionne plus
La nouvelle version n’est pas adaptée à un iPad qui se lit en mode horizontal
Mode sombre
Le mode sombre ne fonctionne plus avec la nouvelle version
N’est pas une version Ipad
N'installer pas cette version sur votre Ipad car elle est faite pour être consulter à la vertical et non en portrait. Les programmeurs ont oublié que les couvercles des ipads deviennent le support et que le format doit être à l’horizontal.
Je l’essai à l’occasion mais « 0 » améliorations
Pas facile de vouloir soutenir un media francophone de la France quand l’app ne propose pas le français au CANADA, CANADA, CANADA !!! 👏 Ouffff !!! Un peu déconcertant , ou plutôt une négligence sévère dans la gestion des communications avec Apple. Alignez vos efforts de façon plus constructives pour y remédier svp. Je vous communique malgré tout mes felicitations pour la qualité des reportages , des reporteurs, des sujets et invités… là ou je suis en mesure de pouvoir m’en imprégné.

Displays upside down
Update: It’ getting worse. It still rotates upside down plus now you get full screen ads so you can’t read the news. I do not recommend this news app. I use my iPad in landscape mode. Whenever I start France24 the app opens upside down. I’ve shared bug reports with them and it has not been fixed after several updates. It is annoying to use.
