France 24 - World News 24/7

I loved this app until their latest update. It now only opens in portrait mode and will not rotate on my devices…like DW, BBC, RT, etc… I have basically stopped using it…what shame.

This app was recently updated from the previous version which may or may not have loaded live feeds or content correctly. In this current version, the French have chosen to format the app to vertical only. Which iI submit is absurd for use on the iPad. Whomever is responsible for this app development should be replaced by competent developers.

Looking at the recent reviews, it is evident that no one reads these reviews at France 24. So many people are asking for landscape view but I guess they only care for phone users. Too bad, I will have to get rid of this app, I had been using it for many years.

Useless. I cannot watch it from my iPad any more as it is now only vertical view like iphone. Stupid.

This is just lazy or in French “paresseux”. How much time would it take to allow the app which works on iPad to support landscape?

I like the news from France24 but the app is a disaster especially on the iPad. Full screen and landscape mode are no longer available!

France 24 is the best international news source. The issue debates are fair and provide multiple points of view. Unlike American Mainstream Media, France24 reports the news.

I enjoyed this app, but after the latest update you can’t get past the login screen. Others have reported that if they activated “ask not to track” the app also locks up. Back to using the website or YouTube I guess…

This App has been unfriendly and unpractical for years. Nobody is listening to clients complaints, nor trying to improve it. I ended up offloading it and using the site online.
